I hope ‘going dark’ and making a legislative proposal works…as for ‘Parliament to vote on’ it …well … we know who throws money at government like its going out of style.

Just all MAFIAA and related sites as a protest implemented by ISP’s for a longer period to show the MAFIAA just where their place is if others start executing their “corporate rights”.

Not all sewers are equal, there are sewers patrolled by religion to which people assign to because they don’t trust themselves going to “bad” places so unfortunately there is no “enforced” neutrality anyway or BREIN wouldn’t get away with all the things they did. They also don’t need to track anything just reroute reroute IP’s like a NAT.

Wonder if that Disney village/town would have uncensored internet (there is one in the US right ?).

Someone compared ISP’s to the sewer system (not the contents). You can flush down the toilet whatever drugs you had. You can flush used oil, or your dead fish. Some of those are probably illegal, or hint at illegal activities that could put you in prison.
But it doesn’t happen. Because the sewers just move the contents from point A to point B. There’s no control at all.
The internet that we have today was created like that, with almost zero control or oversight.

They should start blacking out (stop routing traffic to) sites like Disneyland, iTunes, Microsoft, music/movie stores….. and reroute that traffic to random free sites like Linux, FreeBSD, torrent sites, independent artist sites, promo bay, trolldietroll, library, VPN, newsgroup, wiki leaks, charity and many other useful sites.

And if they keep this up for over a month then a lot of people would be much more educated and the MAFIAA begging to route them again. (They might go to court but then the ISP’s can threaten to keep them blocked for years as long as the trial goes on)

The ISP’s have the real power to do something but don’t know it, didn’t come up with such an idea yet or just don’t want to do it.
