As for the jackass running away, if that happened in japan the police officers involved would have been charged with negligence and for causing injury to a person.

You had already one in custody you didn’t need the other, the guy wasn’t accused of rape or murder or any other serious crime and even if the evidence was being destroyed or was destroyed that scare could just be enough to make those two to stop doing it in the future, if it didn’t they would be caught eventually and could have been so using traps the problem it is not the one offs of this world is the repeating offenders that are really a problem in any crime that is not brutal and savage.

You really shouldn’t pirate off the only legitimate venue that movies have to sell in. (That is, theaters. They specifically say no recording devices. Seriously, have some respect for nondigital distribution.) Instead, you should pirate off DVD’s, which have much better quality, are harder to trace, and are a much less legitimate venue for movies to make huge profits from. ($20 for a movie that I’ll probably just watch once? No thank you, man.)

And you especially shouldn’t sell them for a profit. That accounts for the broken leg, and whatever fines and prison terms they get.

At least BitTorrent people give them away for free.

His leg got broken because he decided to run from the police and tried to squeeze between two pursuing cars. The police have a hard enough job as it is without people accusing them of intentionally trying to kill suspects for a relatively minor crime as camming a film.
