Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows leaked to BitTorrent
Written by Smaran on July 17, 2007The final book in the Harry Potter series has been leaked to BitTorrent. A torrent with photographs of each page of the American edition of “Deathly Hallows” has shown up on multiple torrent sites.
We first got wind of this when two torrents of the book appeared on Demonoid.com. They became immensely popular with over a 1000 leechers and seeders each. But after some time were removed by either the uploader, or more likely, the moderators, in a move to avoid the attention of bloodthirsty publishers.
Not surprisingly, both those torrents spread over to mininova and several other sites and are still going strong (update: mininova removed the torrents). One of the torrents only has the first 495 pages of the book, whereas the second is the complete book.
Over the past couple of weeks, numerous torrents have surfaced online claiming to be the 7th and last Harry Potter book. They are all fakes. Fan fiction. This one, on the other hand, is the real thing. Someone has managed to get their hands on the American edition of the book and has photographed each page of the book and uploaded it to BitTorrent.
The main complaint that’s coming up in comment threads on these sites is that the quality isn’t great. You can just barely manage to read each page. And as some downloaders promptly noted, a few pages cannot be read at all without editing the images in Photoshop.
Die-hard fans of the series will undoubtedly rush to grab a copy of the torrent for themselves. But anybody else would really have to see whether reading the book a week before the rest of the world is worth risking their eyesight and brains, squinting to make out what happens when Harry confronts He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named for the last time.

I am Laura Bowman. I am 7 and I have to say. I live in australia and i am actually WAITING for the book to come out. Stop spoyling it! It isnt fair. J.K rowling worked reely hard on this book. and some stupid dumby had to spoyl it. And you are all laughing abowt it and asking where you get a illegal copy! you have ruined a wuns in a life time book. a book like this wont come around ever agayn. you are all mean and i howp the man hoo did this gets send to jayl and then harry potter comes and kills him with the havvarda kaddabra curse. its sad cause the whole nation has been let down by one stupid dumby!

Blah blah blah blah blah. There are so many rumors that says Hermonie dies, Ron dies, Harry Dies, Voldemort dies, Fred dies, George Dies, Dobby Dies, Kreacher dies, Snape Dies, Malfoy Dies, and mostof the major characters have rumored to die. Just ignore all of the “spoilers” and enjoy the book when it comes out in 28 hours.
I find it rather humorous that people are outraged that information has been leaked about the book onto the web. We ALL knew it would happen, it was only a matter of time. I’ve read the spoilers, I’ve read pages with theories, I’ve discussed it with friends and co-workers who also read the books. Nothing will spoil this for true Potter book fans. Even if main events are known, it should be the JOURNEY the book takes you on that’s the most enjoyable, not the basic main events. Besides, there’s 800 times more pages in the book than the one page of spoilers I’ve come across. You can’t sit there and tell me everything can be condensed into one page of blurbs. Anyway, my two-cents.

My friends,
A few things worth noting:
1) JKR never said that two main characters die, she said that two die that she originally intended to spare and one was spared that was supposed to die. She can kill a whole bunch of people.
2) The book no longer ends with “scar” JKR says so herself, she notes that the word appears ‘near the end’, which fits the photos.
3) Either these pictures are genuine, or someone has set a new record for having no life. Can you imagine the time it would take to write a story, print it, create the illustrations, bind it, and then photograph every page. Not to mention that is appears (at first glance) to comply with everything we know about the book from JKR. Either this is the real deal, or one smart SOB set us all up.
4) The dust cover is enclosed in clear plastic — conclusion, its a library copy that someone managed to get their hands on and digitally photograph. From the hands in the pictures I would say someone young thought it would be cool to put this on the net.
5) All we have to do is flip to last chapter when we get the book and see if Harry has three kids whose names match those in the photos.

Although i havent read and watched all the movies i think Ill get the book when it arrives in stores. doesnt matter what people say about the cover I bett the new book will be as good as the other ones or even better.

sadly, I am one of those people who clicked on a speculation board and right there was the leaked spoilers. I have become incredibly angry and disappointed.
i hav not read any of this site cos i fear it might ruin the book when i finally get 2 read it 2moro. Why do ppl hav 2 do this tho?? y cant ppl just wait until it comes out.. I can understand guessing as 2 what mite happen but taking photos and leaking them onto the net….that is just so mean. any1 who actually downloaded them reali is not a tru harry potter fan. think about how jkr must feel 2 no that sum1 has leaked the book that she has spent YEARS writing onto the internet. YOU SHOULD B ASHAMED!!!

I really shouldn’t have looked at this website. I was bored at work, i was a girl posessed. I hope what Mr Deeds said was wrong. But to be honest i did have my suspicions about Dumbledore - he seemed really, overly, fascinated with Horcruxes. But still I wish i never looked at this. Curiosity killed the cat.

Harry does not die
Voldomort does die
Neveille does die
and mr DEeds is nearly 100pecent right in saying Snape dies on page 658, his last words are “Look…at…me…”
Dobby dies on page 476, his last words are “Harry…Potter…”
Moody dies sometime before page 78, you hear of his death from Bill and Fleur
Collin Creevy dies sometime before page 694, Harry finds Neville is carrying his dead body
The sorting hat dies on page 732, Voldemort lights it on fire
Fred dies
Tonks dies
Lupin dies
Neville kills Nagini
Snape was Dumbledore’s spy all along. Dumbledore plotted his own death so that the power of the Elder Wand would die with him rather than be transferred to his victor. He failed though and the power is transferred to Draco, then to Harry (of course).
Voldemort dies on page 744
Harry’s scar goes away
Harry Marries Ginny and has three kids named Lily, Albus Sirius, and James
Ron Marries Hermione and has two kids, Hugo and Rose
Neville becomes professor of Herbology
Malfoy gets married and has a son named Scorpius
except malfoy dies
oh i also have to say that picture on the cover is a fake. the proper one is harry, ron and hermione jumping through gold coins and other gold stuff.
Sorry if u wanted to raed the book i was going to type it word for word in thes box but after 1 and a half pages the box was full and it would take to long to read and type
