Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows leaked to BitTorrent
Written by Smaran on July 17, 2007The final book in the Harry Potter series has been leaked to BitTorrent. A torrent with photographs of each page of the American edition of “Deathly Hallows” has shown up on multiple torrent sites.
We first got wind of this when two torrents of the book appeared on Demonoid.com. They became immensely popular with over a 1000 leechers and seeders each. But after some time were removed by either the uploader, or more likely, the moderators, in a move to avoid the attention of bloodthirsty publishers.
Not surprisingly, both those torrents spread over to mininova and several other sites and are still going strong (update: mininova removed the torrents). One of the torrents only has the first 495 pages of the book, whereas the second is the complete book.
Over the past couple of weeks, numerous torrents have surfaced online claiming to be the 7th and last Harry Potter book. They are all fakes. Fan fiction. This one, on the other hand, is the real thing. Someone has managed to get their hands on the American edition of the book and has photographed each page of the book and uploaded it to BitTorrent.
The main complaint that’s coming up in comment threads on these sites is that the quality isn’t great. You can just barely manage to read each page. And as some downloaders promptly noted, a few pages cannot be read at all without editing the images in Photoshop.
Die-hard fans of the series will undoubtedly rush to grab a copy of the torrent for themselves. But anybody else would really have to see whether reading the book a week before the rest of the world is worth risking their eyesight and brains, squinting to make out what happens when Harry confronts He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named for the last time.

I got hold of the origional script from a friend, the whole book is about how much Harry loves Ginny, and he ends up sleeping with her…nice for young children to read huh!
I’m hoping the book I read was a fake cos it was rubbish, Lupin and Tonks die, as does Pansy Parkinson, Bellatrix Lestrange is dead as well as Narcissa, Malfoy has his entrails spilled by Voldemort but lives anyway and becomes friends with HP and co. Oh and Percy Weasley dies defending the Order, what a turnaround! Harry’s a horcrux, so has to end up making his own horcrux in a snitch when he kills voldemort, lucky it only took part of voldemort n not Harry! Dudley is really a wizard, which explains Dumbledore’s words to Petunia as he took Dudley of the Hogwarts list in exchange for them looking after Harry. Dudley kills his parents at the end in mirror image of Voldy, great ending Rowling! great ending for a sequal in fact…big suprise.
Hermione and Ron get married, so do Harry and Ginny who have a son named James in the epilogue, Lavendar Brown and Oliver Wood marry, Fleur has lots of babies, oh and it was her who killed Greyback

I think you will find its a fake!!!!!! One of the characters you mentioned does not die!!!
I’ve actually found the book in jpeg format. Read it in a day and a half and the book is great. I had to lower the contrast for every image (by automation) in order read it better and had to squint a lot (the kid doesn’t know how to take photos!) but it was worth it!

Yup, I have the same images. Now I’m going to look for a better version. Apparently, the book is completely transcribed from the images and is out there.

You guys are pathetic. The book is coming out in in 11 more hours and you are still asking for a stupid copy of it online. Pretty soon we will get the book in our hands and find out if these stupid spoilers are real or not. I think the pictures taken of each page are real but it kinda sucks. Its a pretty weak ending. But im still excited to read Harry’s last journey!

Percy dies (this death occurs before the wedding, inevitably throwing events into chaos).

Snape�s loyalty? I found this to be the saddest part of the book. As many people guessed, all was not what it seemed with Dumbledore, and the two did indeed have a plan that would eventually result in Snape killing him. But, Snape was only in on things for personal gain, and when Voldemort learns of this, he is obviously furious with Snape. Snape tries to make up for things by luring Harry to him, but Harry manages to escape, and Voldemort kills Snape before the final conflict.
I don�t know what all these rumours are about Voldemort kidnapping Ron, it�s a complete lie. Ron is killed by Bellatrix Lestrange in The Battle of Hogwarts, but Neville manages to finish off Bellatrix after Ron weakens her before his death.
Harry Potter is not a horcrux.
As I�ve already stated, Voldemort kills Snape.
Voldemort is killed in the Department Of Mysteries. He baits Harry Potter about his parents, Sirius, Dumbledore and Ron. which turns out to be the worst thing Voldemort could have done. As Voldemort steps out into the circular bit with many doors, Harry Potter opens the locked door, and Voldemort is destroyed by the blinding light, which heals Harry Potter, who seems close to death (he does not die).
I read the photo book and it’s terrible. Unfortunately, the only way I can see it not being the real deal is if Jo actually wrote two books and leaked the fake one on purpose. There’s too much in the book that matches up with only recently discovered information (i.e. the symbol for the deathly hallows on the dust jacket).
My glimmer of hope is that in the FAQ on her site Jo said that when a secret keeper dies, the secret dies with them, and remains as it was at the moment of their death. That’s no how it’s described in deathly hallows at all, which would be a major error on her part.

i really, really hope Mr. Deeds is right! if hermione dies (which is another on of the things i have been hearing) i am writing a hate note to JK Rowling, even though she is one of my role modles.
