Ahnon, you might want to read through the previous comments because there are plenty of reviews about the film.

However, I’ll give you my thoughts: its not an action film. It’s a thriller. The dialogue is wonderful. ROss Marquand delivers an amazing performance. The lighting is beautiful. The music is AMAZING!

It has action in it, but I think it’s more like Good Will Hunting if it were about spies.

When I said “fail” I was referring to the experiment itself, which includes both “us”/filesharers and the industry/movie makers. I don’t disagree with you at all. The real failure in my mind is that hundreds of thousands of ppl downloaded and presumably viewed (and enjoyed?) the movie, yet less than one thousand dollars has been donated. Whether or not I donated is besides the issue as not all types of movies are universally appreciated and you assume that I like action movies or that I even downloaded it.

Can some people comment on the movie itself? I have not downloaded it, nor plan to, as I am not interested in this type of movie.

Who failed here? The filmmakers…or us?

We all state that if the MPAA changed their stance and content creators embraced BitTorrent we’d all get behind them. Well, I donated 20 bucks. 175,000 people have downloaded the movie. If they’d each donated 1 dollar these filmmakers would have made back their budget.

If you ask me, unless you donated YOU failed. Do you think these filmmakers will be so forward thinking again? Do you think the MPAA isn’t watching this case study right now? If it fails won’t every studio say “See! This is NO solution! Let’s just keep doing what we’re doing!”

You’re the failure in this.

Yeah, you should, mainly because we can’t tell you just how wrong you are until you actually say what you want to. I just want to know one thing; How is aids the result of a poor human choice?

I’m not sure what Mr. Cromwell’s reasons were for working outside the system but it is highly inappropriate for anyone to be releasing a film to the torrent community for free. Mr. Cromwell undermines the value of all his future films. I think it is fair to say that by releasing this film in this manner the movie must not be any good.
I think it would be a waste of time for anyone to download and watch this.
