In short, they are on a reasonable business model and that being the case, only see the downside of the MPAA’s hilarious whack-a-mole witch hunt.

The thought that comes to my mind is that the writers are also being screwed over. I believe most of them are paid off one time. I seriously doubt any of them are receiving any residuals from multiple broadcasts and/ or showings.

Having their work pirated means little to them since they’ve already gotten paid off for their work and nothing more is coming to them.
