I received a card statement yesterday, and discovered that there was an unauthorized charge from the InfoSys Technologies LLC in the amount of $11.98
I wanted to resolve the problem and called their customer support number 5176390760, but I reached their answering machine.
From the message I found out that the best way to contact them would be through e-mail support@infosystemplates.net
I wrote a letter about my problem to the noted e-mal address, and within 15 minutes I received a reply that the situation will be reviewed, and in about 5-7
hours, I will receive a notice to my e-mail, and then, during 72 hours they will make a refund.
Today I have received a refund and want to take back all the claims for InfoSys Technologies LLC.
The mistake was corrected very quickly, and they have shown themselves as a serious business partners.
Besides, I got a free version of their product as compensation.
Good work, keep it up!

What really gets to me about this is his belief that a government sponsored institutions should automatically be on his side. I did read where Andrew set him straight as to his sponsorship status, but in the beginning, he practically insinuated that the RIAA has like-status to the CIA FBI and other such organizations. Like it is illegal to criticize the RIAA or something, as though one were insulting an officer of law.

Considering that practically zero monies collected by the RIAA actually reach artists, I think its time for them to be disbanded. Perhaps if we just started shooting them between the eyes as the reached the upper level of management, no one would want to take the job...? How many do you think we'd have to go through?

The best bit is where the Revolver Records/IFPI/BPI soldier stresses that he's not speaking on behalf of any of the organizations he represents, it's just his own opinion. No-one else is allowed to have an opinion, so how come he gets 2 opinions - 1 of his own and the other from the IFPI/BPI. Actually, they're both the same and identical in every way.

And both are completely wrong

What pisses me off the most about this new crop of "corporations" like the RIAA and MPAA is that they try and make it seem like what they do is good for the people. In reality they do no good for anybody - not even the people they purport to represent and whose rights they claim to be protecting.

Who is this "Paul" anyway? A RIAA employee? If he's unhappy he should look for a new job instead of threatening academic discourse.

The RIAA will soon start to sue people that even think about making a duplicate of a music track. Besides I thought that the tape cassette was going to kill of the music industry, at least that is what they were claiming.

I am a musician who derives 100% of my income from said practice. Recently I was interviewed by the local music newspaper (in a metropolis of 3,000,000....give or take a few) Here's what I published:

"The industry as we know it is killing itself off due to greed and mismanagement. Musicians will soon be responsible for their own destinies, and record execs will be on freeway off-ramps with 'Will Fuck Artists for Food' signs. The RIAA and its recent shenanigans are testament to that -- what does one do when they can't breathe, their oxygen/lifeblood gets cut off? They thrash about and lash out at anyone and everyone. Frank Zappa would be proud of the situation."

Keep up the good fight. It will all be worth it.
