Theft. Deprives the original owner. Piracy, is making a copy. Piracy is not theft. Let us compare what piracy is, vs actual theft. Theft. You break into a jewelry store. You steal their diamonds. Can the owner sell those diamonds? No. No they cannot, because they are gone. This is theft. Piracy. You go into a jewelry store, make magical copies of their diamonds, leave the originals. Can the owner sell their diamonds? Yes. Yes they can. This is piracy. Piracy is not theft. And, as I have said in posts in the past... the vast majority of 'piracy' is not lost sales. Because it is either done by people who merely wish to test out the music/software/movie first, before they commit to buying, or, it is done by people who simply cannot afford it in the first place. Neither of these is a lost sale, unless you consider the people who try before you buy type stuff who dislike it, and as such do not buy it, as a lost sale on the grounds that, they would have wasted their money getting a product that they end up disliking. I suppose it'd be fine to cheat the customer, but not the business, in the eyes of Hollywood though. Either way, the very vast minority of piracy is actual lost sales. Joe Biden, you have lost the last bit of respect I had for you with this stance if you indeed pushed for this blatantly criminal invasion of privacy system to go into play.

Not only constantly badmouthing the copying, but somehow they became the foremost money-makers &/or money-launders of this era! None cares to explore the reason why or how did it become such with there being so many pirates!

Actually I think people, specially the US citizen who are not exposed to the everyday dilemma of getting food or work or both, are living in that sweet dream of being happy even if the corporate societies a.k.a present government take away the privacy of their children. They are inside that happy dilemma where the conviction of their fellow person gives them the feeling of more righteousness in being ignorant to the fact that their next generation might just be left to become the part of a mindless dump of slaves who make money one way or other to those very few people who are praising them for spurting the mindless repetitive dialogues for a pat on the back.

May be, just may be, as the discussion is about mostly media(I would rather say unhappy brokers or middle-men though) I think that most of those people like the idea of being inside "The Matrix". Whatever the reality may be the others outside are virus(a.k.a pirates). To these vast majority of people, you may not notice yet again but that Matrix isn't real, the great American dream isn't yours but someone else taught you. It is real that after denying & then accepting the facts about Monica, Clinton got elected again by American people. The facts are too many so I better avoid those here. I just wish the people who can still dream their own dream can keep out of this idiocy. May the world unite & don't let Cheyne &/or Biden spread their "Matrix" to eat away everything.

@PelouzeTF,
You do resemble an agent Smith alright ^_^
