ImageShack Starts Free BitTorrent Download Service
Written by Ernesto on April 05, 2008The popular media hosting website ImageShack just launched a new service that lets you download torrent files onto their servers. When the download is complete, you can download the files from ImageShack via an http link.
ImageShack’s torrent download service is still in Beta, but it works just fine. The only thing you need to do is point ImageShack to the torrent file and press start. The download will start immediately, and once it’s finished you can download the files via http onto your computer.
Services like this are not new, but up until now I haven’t seen one that doesn’t charge money. There are some limitations though. Per month you can download a maximum of 15GB to your computer, and the storage on ImageShack’s servers is also limited to 15GB.
Jack Levin, the founder of ImageShack told TorrentFreak: “We think its going to be a great service for users, especially in the light of ISPs ratelimiting torrent traffic. There is a lot of free and legal torrents out there, that people should have easy access too
to. We have the capacity to do it, and the world needs it.”
For those people who are concerned about the anonymity of the service (or think it’s a honeypot), Levin said: “We will not look at what you download and simply provide you, an account, with bandwidth and space. What you do with it is up to you. The DMCA applies, so, if we get reports from copyright owners to take down content, we will comply.”
The service comes with some great features. It supports selective downloading, which means that you can deselect files from the torrent if you don’t want to download them all. This can be quite useful if you only need one album from a complete discography for example.
ImageShack also provides some basic details about the progress of the downloads. Under the “status” link they list information about the download progress, connected seeds and leechers, share ratio and more.
The status reports are not yet working perfectly, as it keeps reporting that a torrent has stopped, while it was downloading just fine. However, the torrents I have tested were downloaded very fast, and I had no problem downloading the files from ImageShack onto my computer.
A more serious point of critique is that the torrent seems to disconnect as soon as the download has finished. This basically means that you will be sharing less than you should. I hope that ImageShack will add a sharing friendly feature in the future, and will at least continue seeding until the share ratio is 100%.
Levin told us, however, that there are no plans to include such a feature. They will offer (paid) premium accounts, but this will be only for bandwidth and storage upgrades.
Overall I must say that Imageshack’s new torrent download service looks very promising, especially for a free service. Decide for yourself, we think it’s worth a try.

Great idea! I want ImageShack to know what I’m downloading.
Great idea! I want ImageShack to know what I’m downloading.
You’re a moron.
Nice is a great idea as a seedboxing method for legal torrents or content you wanna post publicly.
Sounds kind of cool for those legal torrents which go at a snails pace. It could be uploading really quick, hence why they disconnect as soon as they are done.
So it makes torrents into HTTP links? KICK ASS!!! I think it would be good for public trackers, and such, but dosnt it kind of diminish the point of bittorrent?
i think he was being sarcastic :P
I would think twice before using this to download torrents that aren’t legal.
Download speed is pretty slow and all imageshack is pretty awkward to use.
Sounds risky. Not doing it.
How do they expect to make money out of this?
*tested*
Even though it has some BETA-bugs, works well but why on earth would I wanna use it? I mean, what is the actual purpose of this service?
P.S.: why on earth NOT make it web 2.0?
it didnt work for me
it alwayes says “unable to identify you”
You have to login.
Presumably you have to log in first.
http://reg.imageshack.us/content.php?page=rules
Read and be aware of the risks if use this service to download files that break U.S.A’s laws.
http://img663.imageshack.us/tor/browse/?id=924&rel=Steal+This+Film+II.720p.mov
All you have do is login.
I downloaded this with GitRight, after adding the account to the settings.
Meant to have written GetRight…
Lookout its a trap!
No offence but I could have told you this at least two weeks ago…
And I dunno the great feature about not downloading what you don’t want, you can do that in clients just as well and I don’t see the profit in downloading a file and then having to download it again because first time it was downloaded on a server…
All services have a clause that says that they will release information in the event that you commit an illegal act. What do you think? That they’re going to say “Even if you break the law, we’ll cover for you”?
Here’s a fun fact; I’m not aware of a single person being arrested or sued for *DOWNLOADING*. Every case has been about uploading, because when you download with P2P software, you upload as well. Downloading through this service would be just that, downloading.
I’m not saying that it would be completely safe and that people should use it for illegal downloads, just that I don’t see it carrying the same risk as using a BT client yourself. If anything, ImageShack would be the one seen as illegally distributing files.
I’m not sure what the penalties would be for someone caught downloading, but with no evidence of any kind of distribution, either real or intended, but I imagine they’d be much less than people found guilty of distributing copyrighted files.
It didn’t work for me even after logging in.
For those curious, it reports itself as Transmission/1.10, and it is listed as Connectable.
And it does indeed drop the torrent the moment it finishes downloading.
To those wondering, probably the best usage for this is as a seed ‘buffer’.
Basically, start a torrent you’ve created yurself, on your home system, and then run it on this. It acts like a high speed buffer, by transmitting pieces to other people using a faster than normal connection (and in tests, 100+Kbyte/sec upload)once the torrent’s seeded, it drops out. Think of it as a bonus to super-seed mode.
well i get 20 kb/s upload per torrent
also, anyone know if it reports stats correctly?
I believe they are correct but it has been reported that ImageShack.us haven’t finished with the implementation.
Just wondering, what is the mandatory time for storing IP addresses in USA?
This ’service’ is totally pointless.
This ’service’ is totally pointless.
Is this because it is risky to download anything that is deemed by the MAFIAA as being illegal to transfer?
http://forums.rlslog.net/showthread.php?t=2212
The conspiracy theory is brewing, ImageShack are working in conjunction with the MAFIAA to monitor IP addresses…
OK I’m confused. Could I use this as a web seed for torrents? My thoughts are no, as it’d require knowledge of the final Imageshack HTTP download URL in order to add said HTTP link into a .torrent file (as a ‘Web Seed’) during creation?
—
Posted this earlier, nothing showed up and I couldn’t repost (duplicate post)? Are comments moderated before they show? Is Wordpress just crap?
…and now it’s saying “You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.”
*sigh*
*tries again…*

Yeah I do not think this would be implemented because a crap legal reason (MAFIAA) but they should make sure this doesn’t leech and continues to seed until it has a 100% share ratio. Or allow you to choose…dreaming.

I little review. I downloaded a ubuntu torrent and got a nice speed of about 2MB/s. I was surprised and happy. The only problem is i think they should have an upload setting so you can set a upload speed. Once a torrent has finished downloading it doesn’t keep seeding. It immediately stops and further seeding is not possible.

Yeah it has been reported but no comment has been giving by ImageShack.us; if they keep it how it is now “Transmission/1.10″ is going to start getting banned from trackers.
what this does, you upload a torren. a less then 1mb file from the piratebay. then image shack downloads the file to there computer. then you download the file from image shack thus saving your ass from any lawsuits or complaints. thats the good side of it. the bad side of it? your leeching and ur destroying bitorrent.oh and before you say the imageshack terms and agreement says, you must use this service legally. ignore it. they provide u with a possible illegal downloaded file such as the season of the office. they are legaly responsible. to combat this they will limit you to like 100 or 200 mb file a day. not to good for movies but for albums its perfect. so enjoy. oh and tor is slow as hell dont use it.

Well that was bound to happen, this going to be hammered, so much…should have kept it as a private beta.
look at the disclaimer at the bottom it says they will give out your info if you download warez/porn/illegal or banned material.
If you want to do this for free, there’s other free services look up TorrentFlux (free php script), get some cheap or free hosting that supports fopen (tons out there) and put this script on it, and it works exactly the same but 100% more safe. Dreamhost allows TorrentFlux, so get Dreamhost account and run that script.
Or get a shell account, look up free shell there’s so many free ones. If you live in US most major ciites have a free net which offer shells for free. You can use it easily to download.

Maybe someone from ImageShack.us is optimizing MYSQL.
Hopefully.
There is bound to be continued work, but I want it now. :)
We are happy with all the demand :). Now we just need to add some servers to the pool. Remember we are still in ‘private’ unannounced BETA.
It won’t last.
#34, yeah it seems that I couldn’t really use it as a web seed other than if I started atorrent seeding normally, then started Imageshack on the torrent, then manually restrict my upload speed to the exact imageshack leecher ip address (would be a pain in the arse). :/
Reading some comments here now I’m not sure I’m too keen on this idea because I seed content regularly from my domestic connection, and often to not many peers, and I don’t think it’ll be too good if people use imgshack to leech the torrent from me as fast as possible and then drop out of the swarm without at least a 1:1 ratio. It’d just be unfair to me. If I see that start to happen often and it bothers me I’ll just go about IP banning it… it can leech from the other peers instead…
I could really use a web seed though to help me out a bit at times…
We are happy with all the demand :). Now we just need to add some servers to the pool. Remember we are still in ‘private’ unannounced BETA.
If it is the real Jack behind ImageShack, thanks for the new service.
It seems to be continuing to seed now, the files I selected are finshed and my share ratio is still going up.
So, to answer the question on seeding. This is not a seeding service, if you want to seed your files, do it from your home connection. The service is mostly designed to get you the files you need - fast. So one option is, get the file, start your home torrent software and seed.
Seems resume is supported, using GetRight. That’s pretty cool but means it is going to get severely hammered.
So technically it can be used as HTTP Seed when using GetRight (or some other BitTorrent program).

As long as it does it to 100%.

Damn, seems that was premature, resume is not supported. :(
How will they make money?
Easy! They will get a cut from every successful RIAA suit.
Re: money - this is going to be a pay for service; Thats what disk and bandwidth cap is for.
-Jack
It’s nice service if your ISP is throttling your downloads, otherwise I don’t get the point.
15 GB is nothing for an average BitTorrent user.
How will they make money?

They are going to offer premium accounts. (more allowances for quotas)
that point is, you can schedule 10 different torrents for download, not hog your home connection, have those torrents come concurrently, then chose the one you want when they are done.
i logged to my imageshack account and i’m seeing 3 torrents don’t uploaded by me
:-S
maybe because i’m on a school lan (1 ip for 3000 guys)
it’s fun to see what other people are downloading
hehe
sorry my english
Jack: Does it seed back to 1:1 ratio? If it doesn’t it can piss off, if it does, great.
“So one option is, get the file, start your home torrent software and seed.”
So, are you saying it doesn’t seed back to a 1:1 ratio, and that you expect people who use your service to manually faff about adding the file they just downloaded through imgshack to a torrent client running locally so they can give back to the swarm? Surely I’ve read you wrong there?

there is no provision to run the torrent to seed at 1:1 ratio at the moment. This may become an option with a premium account.

If there is a market, cater for it. This is the norm.
Useless services, there’s no reason to use it.
Useless service, there’s no reason to use it.
STOP, STOP, STOP!
Excuse me, but for those who are unaware, this is the same Imageshack photo host that has banned thousands of warez and p2p sites from receiving picture files from links posted in those forums.
Imageshack takes it upon themselves to decide where YOU can post YOUR photos. There is currently a boycott of Imageshack throughout the warez and p2p community. Please support it and do NOT give these anti-piracy goons any of your business. And certainly not any of your personal information.
Hey, Jack(ass)! Why don’t you come back and explain why your company is so vociferously anti-filesharing to the extent that you have to be the Internet Police regarding where a pic hosted by you is posted. You don’t like warez, p2p, filesharing, etc.?
Then find a new business. Or at least mind your own instead of sticking your damn nose and beliefs where they’re not wanted.
Just say no to Imageshack, people. There are many, many good file hosts out there that are not only free, but do not try to substitute their judgement for yours.

Yeah I guess with the tight FUP but it would be useful if you used it at a location, that is not your home with a blank account. Then you can go nuts (15GB).
Great idea

Well I guess everyone was wondering that but what is precedent in court for only downloading a copyrighted work not distributing?
BitTorrent is designed to avoid the bottleneck of having a single source. This entirely works around the main benefit if BitTorrent. If you’re having ISP issues with torrents, get serious and find a better ISP.

This is bollocks. If the system doesn’t give back what it takes then it’s nothing more than a leech, and a leech that happens to make money from sucking up other people’s bandwidth on the behalf of users shafted by shitty ISPs. Your business ethic sucks, Jack; 1:1 or GTFO.
And as far as I’m aware downloads are not illegal in some countries, so if that’s true then how the fck is Imageshack expecting to stop people using the service to leech copywritten content? They’ll be the one’s distributing, not the downloader, and I would have thought the media companies have something to say about that particularly once they start seeing Imageshack IPs in teh evil swarms. Better get ya botty lubed up ready if this is the case…

#91, but you’re only downloading a legit torrent as far as you’re aware. I’m thinking about deniability (UL vs DL arguments aside). A .torrents’ filename doesn’t certify its contents and all you’re doing is downloading the denoted content based on the filename… unless Imageshack forces you to observe the actual files contained within, and assuming they’re not already non-descript.
I don’t know about all this, is it not just a 5-day late April Fools story? Imageshack are gonna go down in flames surely, or it’s a trap of some sorts, or a media exercise to raise Imageshack’s profile, or something… i just don’t see how they could possibly get away with it.

lol, that is what I thought. Yeah, the servers are going to get hammered and then a MAFIAA will try and get in on the action or sue ImageShack. And if ImageShack do not get sued, as MAFIAA sues everything then ImageShack are working with the MAFIAA.

It is a bug, I believe that the server is full (unlikely) or it restricting it 15GB per IP address. We can’t know for sure until ImageShack publicly release some information about the service.

lol !
Ok, it’s fast to download the torrent, but is so fuckin’ slow when i try to download by http… don’t even support download managers
you’re an utter fool if you think Imageshack won’t happily turn over your IPs once their friends in authority apply some “gentle persuasion”.
and if you do think giving your details to a bunch of shady bastards like imageshack is a good idea, then i’ve got $20 million dollars a nigerian prince wants to rest in your bank account - just send me your details to halfwit@gullible.com
> A more serious point of critique is that the torrent seems to disconnect as soon as the download has finished.
They should get banned by all clients & trackers. That’s not how bittorrent works!
Has anyone got the IP ranges these profiteering leechs are using so that I can block them from my client?
because there is no way that I’m using *my* bandwidth to upload to them so they can c ut right off after downloading.
Jack - shove your “service” up your fucking ass, you piece of shit.
The general idea is good, but is poorly implemented.
- Downloading at > 2000 kB/s but uploading at 20 kB/s … it’s a joke
- HTTP download is slow, too damn slow, and don’t support multiple connections (aka download manager)
- After torrent completes it doesn’t continue seeding at least to 1:1 ratio
… no future
The imageshack server are all inside the 38.* subnet owned by Performance Systems International Inc. unfortuanatly it’s impossible to narrow down the IP pool to imageshack only.
*blocked*
From the content industry point of view this kind of service should be ok. You download at a high speed and you don’t upload. So it’s not file-sharing. It’s file-downloading. Whether it’s with the Bittorrent protocol or the http or ftp protocol doesn’t matter at all. ImageShack uses Bittorrent just because it’s more efficient for them to gather the data that you download later on. As soon as there is money to be made with a community sucking data from ImageShack, the MAFIAA will come along and ask money. In the old days, the traditional Mafia asked money if you run a restaurant. The principle didn’t change. Just the market expanded to include other services.
> “We think its going to be a great service for users, especially in the light of ISPs ratelimiting torrent traffic. …
So, this guy basically wants us to give up the demand for unlimited torrent traffic.
> … There is a lot of free and legal torrents out there, that people should have easy access too to. …
I do have easy access. I use file-sharing.
> We have the capacity to do it, and the world needs it.”
I do have the capacity, I don’t need it.
It was blogged by aravindjose[dot]com the same day it was released (i.e. March 30th)
Anyone else notice that their frog logo looks very much like the Azureus logo ‘cept yellow instead of blue?
I used this service and my ISP provider sent me a Cease and Desist letter, I thought that couldn’t happen, what the hell!? Now I have to change my I.S.P. all because I decided to use imageshack!! I AM NEVER USING IMAGESHACK AGAIN!!
Bullshit, gambit. Could you post evidence of that?
There are countries where downloading copyrighted materials (software excluded) is legal. In those contries, the Imageshack bittorrent service is interesting.
dammit, i’m the only one who’s getting a fuckin’ slow http download from imageshack? (15 kB/s!!!)

^Bollocks on that.
I have a question: If I did this on a college network, would it work, ip wise etc? I don’t want music; I can get music from blogs. I’m more interested in tv, programs from HBO and such from eztv et al (I don’t want to pay for commercial television.) I know tv downloading is a lot foggier legal-wise than music downloading, so I might be interested in this (once it opens up again).
It seems like this would be good for people on networks where p2p is banned, like workplaces, colleges, etc.
Yeah, new Sandvine/Ellacoya/P-Cube policy for Imageshack ranges. :P
RCJ : normally it will work unless they block imageshark and I don’t think that’s gonna happen :)

Completely pointless. Legal content is almost always hosted and if not, has a large seedbase. Speed is usualy not an issue on legal torrents. As this service is incapable of seeding on the bittorrent network, it is even more poinless as that is the onlt real advantage people would get from using it, to account for poor upload bandwith or the inability to seed due to constraints placed by their ISP. So its pointless for downloading, its useless for uploading, what else are you going to use it for? If you only want to share the odd thing with your friends, get a free hotmail account and 5gb space on skydrive, then rar and password your illegal shit and let msn host it for you.
@108: Sorry for the misunderstanding.
IIRC, if you’re using Bluetack’s
blocklist (or the Azureus SafePeer
plugin), Performance Systems IP
addresses are already blocked. I think
those may include Imageshack.
“ImageShack Starts Free BitTorrent Download Service
Written by Ernesto on April 05, 2008″
“NOTICE!
April 5th, 2008 - Due to an unexpected rise in usage this weekend, we’re in the process of adding more capacity.”
Says it all!!!!
@133, aye, because there’s only about 300 IPs they haven’t actually blocked yet. ;)
Did any of you even bother to read #75?
Try reading before acting. Or are you all talk and no action?
If Imageshack was going to allow “illegal” torrents to be stored on its server, I shouldn’t think it would be long before all the usual ISPs started throttling (or banning) downloads from Imageshack. They may have spotted a gap in the market, but I can’t see how it will lead to many happy customers.
We’re all gonna end up paying for large downloads some way or other.
“A more serious point of critique is that the torrent seems to disconnect as soon as the download has finished.”
ImageShack = Leech Client.
Fuck them.
Using this “service” is contrary to the sharing ethic of p2p, to say nothing of all that DMCA bullshit.
Fuck them in their assholes.
Ackbar knows what time it is.
I want more than 15GB pls.
Beta is now closed…

Come to my parlor said the spider to the fly.
And like the fly, 90% of you are walking right into a trap set up by Jackshit himself.
Hey morons using this service, how many of you are seeding to it?
Makes you an “uploader” you know. And good old Jack is collecting all your info. IP’s and all.
Bah, not usefull since you can’t download copyrighted content.
burn nigger burn
sounds like crap to me imageshacks servers are so slow. It would take longer to download it from them once you wait to torrent it than just torrenting it.

Peerharbor can suck it. They limit you to only 20kb/s upload.

They cost money. This service doesn’t. Thats the difference.
no - they upload, this “service” doesn’t. *That* is the difference.
This is a cancer on P2P. It is MovieX (or whatever those charlatans were called) taken to the next level and anyone who uses it deserves to be ratted out by the oh-so-reliable Imageshack (seriously, do a bit of digging there folks ) cos they certainly don’t contribute to the P2P world. They take and don’t give. Screw ‘em.
Well I guess everyone was wondering that but what is precedent in court for only downloading a copyrighted work not distributing?
I don’t think there has ever been a court case where a person was charged with only downloading. There’s really no way for a third party to monitor pure downloads, only you and the person you’re downloading from know what you’re downloading. So to catch you, they would have to offer the files themselves. Since they own the rights to them, I don’t see how you could be charged with downloading illegally, since the rights holder is sending the file to you.
Other than that, they would have to go to court and get a subpoena to go through the logs of a hosting company like Rapidshare. Even then, I don’t think most servers log what you download, just how much so that it can keep track of your quota.

For what it’s worth; I’ve read all about MovieX and I’ve seen it show up in torrents too, but refuse to let me download from it. A while back, I read a post from someone at MovieX who said that the tracker DOES allow public connections, just that they have a limited number of slots available and once those are filled, you get the “You’re only allowed to seed” message. After reading this, I started paying more attention when MovieX’s tracker showed up in a torrent. He was right, a few times it DID let me connect and download.

(Sigh.) I swear, sometimes you have to beat idiots over the head before they get it.
Hey, to all the tards who can’t be bothered to read the comments and think Imageshack is your filesharing friend, why don’t you just skip the middleman and send your personal info direct to the MPAA, RIAA, Media Sentry, your ISP, etc.

Thanks mate, been waiting for that, thought it got lost in all the spam. :)
So, in regard to ImageShack wouldn’t they be the offending party for hosting the file and distributing it? Even if they logged your IP address, you only downloaded from their servers and only provided the torrent, which currently isn’t considered illegal.

If this is the case and someone has a lawsuit filed against them for using this service it is going to a very sad day. All that should happen is your account gets terminated for breaking their ToS but you are right in the sense that, when dealing with the MAFIAA, you don’t know what to expect.
Still need some clear evidence that ImageShack are in bed with the MAFIAA, the only breech of user privacy, that I know of is when they gave information to the SA admin about SASS users but this could been because the admins knew each other, I am not excusing them but the trading of account details always happens on the internet, this case was just made public.
All of this features works in µTorrent
app. What do you get as new except a total supervisor control on downloads? And, by the way, imageshack have a great opportunity to collect a material for themselves.
Damn it…Why does it keep saying that I’m a new member? (member since 2007-07-08)..
Still…I guess it’s a pretty neat service..Sorta like a free seed box…And frankly, I can’t care less about my IP address being known…
BETA is opened to new users again. Jump in before it closes.
Further reading of Dreamhost’s website reveals they do not like bittorrent and discourage it’s use on its servers. And here I was getting all excited by the thought of setting up a torrentflux box for 5 bucks a month.

You should read comments … http download really sucks!, it’s so freaking slow dude!
im getting 300kbs download http
pay back what you take. 1:1 Ratio or GTFO.
As simple as that.
The last thing torrent community need is more leechers.
I can see several ways how this could be used to hurt pirates:
- solicitation to a crime: yes, Imageshack is the one breaking the law if they seed back, but you are the one who commits them to do that, so you *too* can be procecuted
- collecting IP’s and sharing them with MPAA&friends, who will look out for pirates with large amounts of downloads and sue the minute they catch one of them sharing back. Are you really going to court if besides that one upload they can prove that you’ve downloaded tons of other stuff? It might not be illegal, but it’s certainly amoral and won’t help your case.
- a clever idea to weaken the massive BT culture. Turn people back to using simple HTTP downloads and being ignorant about BT, Imageshack’s is seeding for only limited amount of time and thus contributing to the fast death of .torrents, users might get banned from trackers if they use IS’s services, users are the ones who’ll go through the trouble of finding the torrents to newest movies’n'warez. Why spend time digging out the newest leaks and trackers whose takedown would make most damage if you can let the pirates do it for you? ;)
this is fine, but they should at least offer a way to throttle the dl, so you can share to a better ratio. or set it to at LEAST share to a 1.0
Although i would pay for this service monthly if I didn’t have to worry about the upload stopping.

Ask yourself the question “what is in this for ImageShack?”
Those who use this “service” are naive at best.
@Impure (post 177)
- advertizing? I myself had quite forgatten ImageShack, having moved to XS.COM a long time ago due the slowness of IS’s servers. Now I recall them and might quite well consider using ‘em again.
- change in business direction? With all the picture hosts that’ve popped up why not move to a new terrain? They’ve got the servers and bandwidth, after all.
- more money from payed accounts? I’ve never bothered to check how they actually make their income (except for the ads on their pages), but a (partially) commercial proxy server/file hosting system combo specializing on BT does sound like something that could bring in some bucks.
From the POV of legal torrents the whole concept ain’t bad. I mean badly seeded torrents, like many old movies which are in the public domain, not Linux distros which indeed usually have dedicated servers guaranteeing availability. So I wouldn’t automatically dismiss the whole project as bogus, but did have to point out those quick thoughts why one should be atleast a little suspicious. And careful.
This is a great solution for downloading behind firwall
this is great for those who are being throttle
I got this working with a torrent from The Pirate Bay but it would not work with a Torrent from Demonoid (which is a private tracker). I thought my pass key was in the torrent file I download from private trackers and that if I gave this torrent file to ImageShack it would be able to do the downloading … but apparently not. Anyone get this service working with a private trackers torrents?
Thanks
how can you download your torrent using FTP or a download accelerator? I have tried to link to it and not a chance. I receive bad download speeds from this site
anyone getting bad video files using imageshack? (they are choppy)
if you can change your download rate to like say 1k and it still uploads at 20k you could get a bunch of accounts and set them up to help you seed your torrents. After awhile just log back into the accounts delete the torrent from your free space and reactivate it ,whilst never actually downloading via HTTP. could this work?
Maybe someone could setup a bot on their computer to do all the reactivating part in the imageshack torrent tool automatically and bingo all your torrent now have an extra 20k x how ever many accounts you got running per torrent
.
it is not free anymore.
minimum plan is 10$/month.
.
sucks.
