A quick study of the problem teaches us that it’s got to do with too much people being on the payroll of the major companies – including lawyers for that matter -:)
Maybe if they laid off 25% of their workforce in big countries like the UK, Germany and the USA, these same major record companies wouldn’t have to sue ordinary people and offer such killer contracts to new pop groups.
Hmm, there’s an interesting question: what would we prefer: having people lose jobs and music stores going bankrupt or paying the wages of superfluous personnel e.g. buying our music?
