The most recent being $50 on Fallout New Vegas. It BSODs because I have a creative labs sound card, which Fallout New Vegas does not support. That is a common piece of hardware which many gamers have. I am not purchasing another sound card for one video game. And I am conservative about taking risks in purchasing more games that will end up like New Vegas

I pirate games before buying them since purchasing New Vegas because I cannot trust my own purchases anymore, and that is not my own fault, that is the fault of developers.

Perhaps I shouldn’t pirate them at all. Then, I wouldn’t eventually buy them down the road either, so it’s really some money and me pirating, or me not pirating and no money for developers at all.

The only thing I still play are some Valve games. At least those work properly out of the box.
