I love it how the paper basically rambles on for pages and pages about semantics and the technical details of bittorrent to try and distance himself from any personal responsibility. The fact of the matter is that Isohunt’s operators would have to be blind to not notice all the infringement that was carried out on their site.

The excuses are just pathetic. “Gary Fung didn’t control the moderators.” Of course he controlled them. He selected them and decided what rules they enforce. If they were helping people commit infringement, he could have removed them (since he claims that ishohunt does not condone infringement.) But he didn’t for obvious reasons as the site owe’s much of it’s popularity to the immense amount of infringement that it has under it’s belt.

Next they will want to censor the air. Which is what the web is, radio on a wire. I feel that Biden, or drunk Joe as I like to call him, and his buddy Obama have an agenda to circumvent lawful process in favor of the so called entetainment industry. Starting with the first thing they did when they came to power, making everything digital.

A keywords filter list just seems to broad to be legal, since its almost impossible to copyright most song or movie titles and it blocks many legal files with similar names.

Any legal action should only block illegal files that a Judge has ruled on, since there are fair uses or recorded by cover band with enough changes to words and music to be legal.
Should MPAA or third party be allowed to decide a file is likely illegal, while not prefect still better than keywords filters.
