Telia Sonera is actually the old STATE monopoly telecoms provider from the days before the telco market opened for private companies.

They are the ones who are responsible for operating the unprofitable rural telco operations in Sweden.

I think it's still largely state owned. Good to see they are able to stand up for themselves.

Kudos for Telia for protecting the customers.

As always, hope MAFIAA and merry friends die a horrible death. Or they could always evolve and work with their customers [/dream]

PublicBitTorrent - An open tracker project

PublicBitTorrent is a bittorrent tracker free for anyone to use. You don't need to register, upload or index a torrent anywhere, all you have to do is to include the PublicBitTorrent tracker URL in your torrent.
How does it work?

When you create a torrent file the application will ask you for a tracker address, then simply type in PublicBitTorrents tracker URL's:

http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce

7 & 8, GTFO you failtroll. You are so fail & everyone knows you are not really pro-copyright at all. Fail troll is fail.

Anyway, when you sign up for an ISP, and they say your information will be kept private & will not be shared with third parties, if they do share it, regardless of the reason, they can be sued. So TeliaSonera is in a tough spot because they can be sued either way. The retarded laws they are passing in the UK will end up making all the ISP pack up shop & move on. Then when the UK is the only country without internet access, and their economy is in ruins, the government will look around & go WTF happened? Destroy commerce, then complain about it. ...Sounds like a plan without a goal to me...
