You can do studies and consensus's, but your not going to get any politician to change their mind no matter how truth full the facts are. As long as you got big media, movie, and music companies putting their hand an money into you officials pockets the endless loop of hypocrisy continues as they are willingly deaf to you voices cause of a currency. That goes for all nations around the world.

And where did I get the news of this report ? Well blow me over ! I have only read it here. Not anywhere else. Not on line in any news organisations web site or in their papers. Again, it is the alternative, "underground" that gives me the info. Another example of the "system" not giving a full unbias reporting. Thanx torrentfreak

As the old saying says "An eye for an eye". They steal and buy from us, and expect us to just sit there and endure all the crap they pour onto our heads, saying "God, thank you for this wonder!". A whole sector in the economy is based purely and 100% on lying and stealing and it's called marketing with its sword - advertising. What kind of justice is that? Someone with enough cash is always right, and someone with almost no money is always wrong.

And the worst thing in all this is that the people, who actually create these products, usually get milked buy the publishing industry and get sh@t for their work. Same goes for everything. Take the farmers. They bust their asses and work from 4-5 in the morning till 10 and later in the evening. They spend so much money on keeping their production in a good shape. And then a f@cking monopolist comes and says "Although a kilogram of your tomatoes costs 3.00 EUR, I'll buy it for 1.00 EUR. If you don't agree, I'll f@ck you, your family, your workers and even your animals up your a@s and make sure no one buys you sh@t!". Sadly, it's a common practice and the politicians don't do anything to change things, because they want the cash, and the monopolists provide it for their protection.

You sure got that right. Our parents and grandparents gave us the radio, C60/C90 cassette tapes, the walkman, the home cine projector, vhs recorder & tapes..Enjoyment when and where we wanted it with family and friends.

So what do we give our children? An Internet heavily policed and censored and where every infringement lead to Internet termination or restriction? I think not.

File sharing for non-profit should be lawful. Freedom for our children. In my opinion this is not harmful for the copyright side when any sales loss is offset by sales gain from increased advertising and exposure. And yes they can still compete with free and NetFlix is one good example.

So why should the lawmakers fear something that is not harmful? The only thing it should do is to lead to better media when bad media would not fare as well under such a market. Putting out crap and expecting fair to good return has always been Hollywood's problem.
