I managed to get hold of a copy of the Six Strikes agreement signed by one of the ISPs. I noticed that the document states that the Six Strikes agreement is only in effect for four years. Interesting that the agreement ends around the time that the current US administration ends.

I wonder if the next president will renew the agreement.

I wonder what would happen to Six Strikes if the next president is not a Democrat.

Your posts have repeated been countered by other commenters responding with facts and logic in countless articles. Every single time you post, your strawmen are set ablaze for the world to see, your ridiculous proposals are held up to the light of laws and shown to violate basic guaranteed rights in multiple countries. Your assertions are picked apart and refuted from multiple angles.

And when you are rebutted, you seldom attempt to respond to those rebuttals, and you never change your views. You merely ignore any opposing arguments or facts and slink away to troll another day.

If people around here have lost respect for you, perhaps it is because you have shown no respect for them, for basic rights, for free market economics, for rational debate, or for truth.

Fortunately for you, free men and women who value freedom, including those you call “pirates”, tend to be far less trigger-happy with censorship than you MAFIAA types, so you’ll probably have plenty more opportunities to stink up the comments section of this site in the future.

But even then, you are serving the so-called “pirates” more than you are the MAFIAA. Through the posts of people like you, those who have so far remained neutral or oblivious can see the true nature of the MAFIAA. They can weigh the well-reasoned and principled arguments of the “pirates” against the blind vitriolic ad hominems, mindless clamoring for fascism, and deflecting strawmen produced by the media industry’s sock puppets. And if 2012 showed us anything, it was that the MAFIAA is not invincible when the people become engaged.

Sufficient bandwidth to stream HD video, even for multiple users, is still several tiers below the highest speed and highest priced internet packages available from most ISPs, even among the residential (as opposed to business) packages.
