Jurassic Park 4 Script Leaked onto BitTorrent
Written by Smaran on February 02, 2007You read it correctly. The script of the 4th sequel to the major Hollywood blockbuster, Jurassic Park, has been leaked onto BitTorrent. The title of the script is “Dawn of Extinction: Jurassic Park”, and production of the movie hasn’t even started yet!
Possibly the most popular film of the early nineties, Jurassic Park made more money at the box office than any film before it, and was only topped only by Titanic some years later. This was before the Internet, in 1993. 14 years later and the script to the fourth sequel has been leaked and uploaded to BitTorrent.
The script was uploaded to a popular semiprivate BitTorrent tracker by a certain “xbadwolfx” 6 days ago. He claims that it is the original copy, and that he has “friends in the company”, but reminds downloaders that the production team might have made slight changes to it after the time of his receiving it.
What’s interesting is that one of the concept images xbadwolfx uploaded to the torrent site displays the title of the movie as “Jurassic Park: New Dawn”, while another image says “Jurassic Park IV”. Both these images don’t match the title of the script, which is “Dawn of Extinction: Jurassic Park”. Also, one of the concept images has the year “2006″ printed on it.
Despite those discrepancies, the script itself seems to be legitimate. According to the uploader, it is confirmed that all the original Jurassic Park (1) characters are back. What’s yet to be seen is whether Hollywood will actually go ahead and make this movie.
We’re not linking to the torrent for obvious reasons. Although, it’s rather easy to find.
Update: Turns out, the script’s a fake. I guess we should have taken a hint when we found three different titles for the movie. Thanks to Icaterus for letting us know.

Apologies for being pedantic and slightly off-topic but wouldn’t JP4 be the 3rd sequel rather than the 4th ?
It’s the third sequel, not the 4th. It’s the 4th INSTALLMENT, but the 4th SEQUEL would be Jurassic Park 5.
I guess there would be no fun then in the movie.

I hate to break the sad news, but this is definitely NOT the script to any Jurassic Park 4. I just skimmed most of it and it seems more like an original script for Jurassic Park 2. It’s sort of a mix between the actual 2nd book (Lost World) and what eventually made it to the screen as Jurassic Park 2. It’s still a good read, and would have made a better movie than what eventually made it to the screen as Jurassic Park 2. But I repeat, this is DEFINITELY NOT Jurassic Park 4.

Ok, the people involved in this have NOTHING to do with the writing of the script. The two writers (Myself and a friend), wrote this back in 2002 as a Fanfic and nothing more. Someone ELSE has copied the script and is passing it around the net (And selling it on E-bay) as the real thing. The writers of this did not intend for it to be a hoax, just one of literally HUNDREDS of JP fanfictions on Dan’s JP3 Page, 5 years ago.
So don’t fucking blame us for this whole thing being ‘a hoax’.
@ Jeff: Don’t worry about it, no one’s blaming you or your friend. You should just be proud that your script was so well written that people actually believed it was the real thing. A friend of mine refused to believe me when I said this wasn’t the next JP sequel.
Did anyone end up buying it on eBay?
This is fake. I know the person who wrote this and that cover art is from Disneys “Dinosaur.” It’s not a bad story but it’s a fan fic. Nothing more.

Hey there!!! I finally got dibs on the ‘real’ script!!! And i will tell the whole jist of it to you!!!
It all starts when a bunch of pteranodon attack some people at the park. (from when they escaped in jp3) Then after that whole bloody sene, it goes to John Hammond, who is ill. a guy comes in and says that nerdery is ALIVE. hammond is taken to the hospital to see him. Nerdery says that he was on the island for 14 years, before making a raft and sailing out to sea where he was rescued. he says that the dinos are breeding like mad! and that some have a weird disiese. then a whole argument starts, blah, blah, blah. then, later on, dinos are starting to be found all over north america, and people are not only being killed by the dinos, but also catching the disease that most dinos have. This disease is responsible for wiping out the whole dino race some 2 million years ago, and will do it again, not just to the dinos, but people to. Hammond figures out the disease can only be seen in embryos, so sends a guy, nick, out to the second island to find the shave cream case that nerdery was going to use to take embryos back with him (it also says that the disease is still present in dead embryos). nick is sent to the 1rst island all alone, in stealth mode, to find the case. Meanwhile, nick finds out that how the dinos got into north america was by the Cubans. who are secretly at war with the american. so the cubans sent stealth ships to the island to get there altamit, fighting weapons, DINOS!!! the Cuban government is also looking for the shave cream case in cuba, because some of there men got the disease. there is a battle between nick, the cubans, and dinos. But finally the cubans get the embryos. and nick goes back to north america, and then the anericans are sending dinos to cuba!!! the cubans find out that there is no cure to the disease. then cuba and america team up to fight the dinos, and isolate the people that are infected with the disease. it ends out that they manage to kill all the dinos, but also have to kill all the people infected. they also decide to nuke the two islands, and it ends with a bargade of nukes falling down, and you watching your favorite dinos… disapear forever. the end!!!
