US govt. is trying to bleed him dry so he can’t put up a defense. Or they could just keep it going until he’s broke then drop the whole thing. I’m guessing one of the two. US has a history of using these tactics

So much for the basic human right of a quick, speedy, and FAIR, trial.

oh, sorry, you can’t provide one? Case Dismissed, should be the response. It would really be nice to see the Supreme Court Enforce a Maximum limit on trial proceedings, especially the extradition of non-citizens from their home country. Can’t prosecute/extradite within a year, barring war or fugitive runaway (trial essentially hasn’t begun at that point)? Case. DISSSSSS.MISSED

but we won’t likely see such a thing within our lifetimes…..at least they got our backs on cellphones…that’s nice i guess

Oh now come on you’re using logic which isn’t allowed in the US judicial system now is it. We all know Kim Dotcom is innocent and I’m sure we all know that despite his innocence there’s going to come a point in time where he’ll either win his case, run out of money or be found guilty in a fixed court. The question is when will this be? Is the US just playing for as much time as possible, stalling for time whenever and wherever they can? It seems to me they’re just trying to throw the rule book out the window and do every single thing that they can within their power to ensure that Kim Dotcom is mistreated and not given a proper legal defence…

I’m sure they’ll have the hearing eventually, maybe 200 or 300 years down the road. Then once they do, they’ll bitch about how he didn’t show up for it.

What’s funny is that somehow, the usual trolls (or at least they would if they would log into their accounts) will dress this up like Dotcom’s fault, as though he’s somehow magically influencing the hearing delays – with the bulk of his monetary resources locked away, no less.

You’d think that with a slam dunk like the copyright fanboys claim they have against Dotcom they could’ve got their hands on them already, but even after the judge let them go on the warrant technicality they still keep mucking it up. Screaming and whining and kicking is all they can do to keep up the facade of them having a case.

It could go on for 20 ty years like this. Im sure judges and lawyers are doing well out of it.. why end something too fast.. its less money for them :)

also its possible he could die of old age or heart attack.. before he gets in court.. hes not exactly a spitting image of great health and seems to be getting fatter.

all his money he should hire a trainer and look after himself better
(we really need dot com to stay about and stick it to these people and NZ gov and get a seat in it cos NZ might get too boring again )

I guess usa secret service might even knock him off and make it look like a car accident or cancer like all the other conspiracies about whistleblowers in recent years :)

my guess is John Keys asked the usa on his arse licking recent visit to move it passed election time.. maybe one day Keys will see his time in court and maybe share a cell with John Banks.

Mps should be held accountable more so then public.. they should get double the time for cheating and lying about stuff..

but my guess is they just give them home detention and a fine .. some soft time.

unlike that poor sod in swedish jail in solitary cells for doing nothing like what these guys get up too.
