To clear up the uncertainness of reopening the tracker, it will almost definitely be reopened but it is unsure if it will be right away or after the whole legal fight is over.

Sadly, you are wrong in your assumption that he is getting any real money. The 900k ISK he’s received so far is only a drop in the ocean compared to the 4M he’s had to spend on legal aid. He will probably never get anything close to the money put out, back from the companies. His personal financial loss will count in the millions of ISK (tens of thousands of USD). For a student that just wanted to do some good for the community and fight the good fight, his rewards will be little more than insults. In the end, even if he wins he’ll be losing.. a lot. :(

Good to see someone that actually went up against this bs and won this many times.

This tracker has gone through and persevered though an enormous amount of bullshit. It would be a shame not to see it re-open after it triumphs, not only as a beacon of light, but as preverbial middle-finger to these assholes that tried so hard to shut them down.

It would if they keep trying and failing be harder and harder to actually bring actions and if at the end of the day they no longer are able to file any attacks then guess who wins.

A) man like me got mucked with by BELL CANADA for 10 months, i finally get to the point of lawsuits and they quickly back off and settle EVERYTHING.

Whilst yes, the anty piracy peeps might not win in caught, if the site does not make a return, they will have as good as won.
