The problem is the picture was found on instagram and you the ELUA on instagram says you give up any and all copyright protection on anything you put up and give it to instagram.

If your going to do original stuff the worse place you can post stuff is on social media sites.

I have a feeling the problem is one of the sites she’s uploaded to. IIRC, Instagram, Imgur and Facebook do allow people to use images uploaded for commercial ventures without necessarily asking for the original artist/photographer/etc. permission.

Art theft always sucks, but triply so when it’s from someone who could’ve paid or even just asked. Lil Kim has more than enough money to pay for the right to use that photo on an album cover. (Or even ask Ravndahl to do a new photo just for the album.)

It is illegal to use commercially, any image whether in public purview or not to make money without the artists explicit consent. This girl is covered under copyright law and should sue.
