LimeWire was fucking trash and will not be missed. Nearly every computer that came to my work filled with viruses had LimeWire installed and I can assure you, it was no coincidence.

People still use Limewire? That’s some funny shit. Sure I use the network, but not Limewire, too many fakes. (not my only source obviously, my main source is something that is better not talked about).

Shareaza is good, just don’t get the fake one. Better than BearShare and the others, cuz it uses all the networks, Gnutella, Gnutella2 (limewire used gnutella2) and eDonkey (which is the glacier of file sharing, maybe slow at times, but its damn stable from takedowns) You can get a filter and server list, combined weeds out 95% of the fake crap that usually plagues those networks.

Hey everyone, bam wants to sign a petition! He MUST Not be a troll who is on the RIAA’s leash. I mean that just proves it. And Direct downloading HAS to be safer. It’s not like you will directly download from an RIAA lackey. IMPOSSIBLE! I agree with bam, lets all use a “single source” approach to downloading because that will be more resilient to the RIAA’s gestapo tactics.
