I really laugh all at all these idiots praising FrostWire because you are complete morons. FrostWire uses the same sources as LimeWire. If LimeWire sucks so much, FrostWire clearly sucks too. If you actually experience better throughput with FrostWire, this might be due to deep packet inspection which may be looking for “User-Agent: LimeWire/*” and doesn’t know about FrostWire at all. Such filtering/throttling is clearly happening in some ISPs’ networks. The day LimeWire goes out of business, FrostWire will start to slowly die as well because as said it’s LimeWire LLC who does all the serious coding not the FrostWire guys. The latter just did a bit of superficial modding. I hope at least some of you understand, that by using FrostWire you are still supporting LimeWire because LimeWire LLC has decides how the software evolves.

I’m not a fan of LimeWire and have never used it because of more suitable alternatives but this undeserved bashing of LimeWire is really getting on my nerves. Nobody should listen to these guys because they are either dumbfucks or have some hidden anti-p2p agenda.

The real problem is that mankind isn’t ready for truly open, distributed file-sharing. There are too many people eager to spread malware and too many clueless people
with no knowledge to avoid them and secure their systems. Hence the domination of the centralistic, elitist BitTorrent.

I love Limewire, works great.

People used to brag to me that they used LimeWire when I was back in school and I just thought they’re idiots, Torrents is a much more trusted system.

Since when was file sharing illegal? I think you are referring to [b]Copyright Infringement[/b]. The term ‘illegal file sharing’ is what music industry likes to throw about with impunity, regardless of the other applications.

Like shutting down trackers which facilitate the sharing of non copyrighted material, which is entirely fascistic.
