May I interject… without me being a dick about it.

SPAM:
I see those “total privacy” aka “ultimate spammer” comments as simply spam.
Related or not…it’s PERSISTENT spamming….
If the article says ” what VPN do you guys recommend ?”
fuck that ultimate spammer , he lost all his internet points. His link is still spam.
Best way to deal with him is to mock him and his service. ( +remove his posts)

With spam here at TF….. we /the users can do a lot to remove it.
We have used offsite tactics to prevent certain spammers.

US Counterfeit store Spammer….remember him?
His store was blocked everywhere so…. used url shortening….oops…. gone
linking to his site from those services is filtered. ( that’s what happens when the services see internal links,  linking to internal links…..looping..X20+………. destination spammers store ) Only url shortening services left are the spammers own unattended url shortening sites (easy to block a known spam service)

Seriously that is the ultimate rickroll.

That being removed annoyed me.
It was 100% topical, 100% harmless, 100% comedy….not spam.

Please don’t make the rules more severe than they are now ?
Especially with the purpose of protecting the comments/us.

Please don’t have rules set in stone ?
