They do have some ideas on how to end infringement. Make content available faster and in more formats and places worldwide, don’t use abusive DRM, make it available at what consumers see as a reasonable price, stop increasing copyright lengths to get more stuff in the public domain faster. The problem is that is ideas are usually ignored by many companies with a few exceptions.

Their justification for not allowing the PP are pathetic. As if the legacy players they allow in will be able to give any new perspective other than “MOOOOORE” draconian laws that don’t work. Good thing the US are nosediving. They won’t be missed. Although it is a pity for some Americans that are not glued to their American Idol or other crap entertainment.
