Although my overall daily download rate is still better than it was before the change, even that has seemed to drop from what it was a year ago. And when I tried to use Demonoid and Pirate Bay for distribution of the 13 Days, they only got about a tenth of what Mininova did.

So Mininova isn’t what it use to be but it’s not dead yet. It’s still the best torrent site for distributing legal torrents. Unlike any other site, it makes it easy to find new torrents. And it’s the legal torrents that are going to make torrenting respectable and keep it from becoming completely illegal.

In other words mininova was saying: We’re not sure we are not doing anything wrong so we’ll give them something to make the problem go away.

Then BREIN used that as evidence of them admitting they are doing something illegal.

That just sounds personal.

We don’t look back with rose TINTED glasses on.
Mininova was far from perfect.
But the users made it a meltingpot of files and comments.

Millions of users… Don’t forget that.

Of course there where , and are technically better sites, sites with more niche subjects and files , more features ect…

But at mininova you had millions of files , Most with lot’s of comments , helping users , describing content.
