One of the reasons Mininova is larger than TPB is that Mininova tends to have the French, German, Italian and Spanish version of just about everything, plus local content from these countries. Whereas TBP has a heavy focus on Anglo-saxon and Scandinavian material.

Okay well I don’t know what to say. This article is really bad. You guys at torrentfreak.com really do glorify Mininova. Don’t forget that Mininova is just a meta-search engine, It has no tracker of its own. If it was to go down there would be no loss. But say a site like Demonoid.com was to go down you would loss hundreds of thousands of torrents (As to history has shown).

Stop ass kissing and give us good content!

Both ourselves and TPB crew have a great relationship – there is NO rivalry what so ever or hatred between the two of us. We help each other out and support each other where we can. TPB Crew rock :)

Those “false results” are because The Pirate Bay searches the description as well as the title. If you want to search only the titles, then you can choose the option to search only the title on The Pirate Bay.

The best thing about Mininova that I have noticed is that the site looks clean in terms of layout.I haven’t come across any porn pop-ups yet which makes browsing even nicer.
As for TPB …it still rocks.So often I have searched for a not so popular or niche file ..and no matter which website I have downloaded the torrent from..it still is being tracked by TPB.That makes it different from others.
The one thing that truly sucks abt TPB is their ‘ Search engine ‘.False results or no results most of the time.Search for it in Torrentz.eu..voila its there…hosted by TPB themselves !!!
