I think you miss my point, Europe could give two shits about TPB and Brokep’s statement makes it seem like they might… or is he not referring to TPB when he says “us.”

I think you miss the point. It’s not TPB in specific that Europeans care about but rather American attempts to dictate national and European policy.

Fair enough. Perhaps I should state that a little differently. The Demonoid moderators and many members of the Demonoid community should apologize.

I saw first hand what a little smear job was being orchestrated against TorrentFreak. It was an over reaction and wrong.

The man from earth is a movie I never would have seen without downloading it. Having said that I’m damn glad I did because it’s a great movie.

There are countless movies I’ve bought becuse I downloaded them and thought “I have to get the dvd of this”. I just got a new DVD shelf for christmas that holds 350 DVD’s on top of the other two shelves I have. Yet I download all the time, i mean all the time. Downloading hasn’t slowed my dvd purchases. Unless of course you count the movies I have downloaded that made me think “god I’m glad I never paid to see that” lol

In case anyones curious about my christmas, I also got a Toshiba 42 inch LCD, a 3rd gen nano, lots of DVD’s…and socks. Why people give me socks I’ll never know.
