The Mist was a great movie because it was weird and not hollywood at all and accepted the cheese factor, which I loved. More biting and killing please!

God, the ending in The Myst was horrid. It killed the film for me, how stupid was that. Most of the people in the theatre were pretty pissed off.

The Mist was an alrite film. Not all films need a happy ending (even hollywood). It pisses me off hen retarded ppl say a film is rubbish because they wanted it to end nicly

hmm a tie for third i find it hard to believe that they can gauge that. Doesn’t matter the list sucks anyways. Movies are getting worse nowadays theres only one out of probably ten movies that is good. Here that is proven correct. While i think some of these movies were well written they did not make me want to buy any of them. When i want to spend money on a movie thats when i know its good.

Personally I liked ‘The Mist’ and to echo one of the comments, it didn’t pander to the usual hollyWEIRD, uber-cliche’d formula and was thusly refreshing, good ol’ 1950’s-era cheese factor & all, which was its INTENT. Another I’ve been desperately seeking is the 2008 U.S. version of “Funny Games” by the German director Michael Haneke (remake of his own 1997 German original). Any ideas for a LEGITIMATE copy? (have encountered FAR too many infuriating fake and/or password-protected cruel-joke varieties). This one will literally twist your brain and linger long after the closing credits, ala Kubrick, unlike the PEURILE sewage passing for ‘horror’ these days.
