I didn’t like a single one of these. Quite a bad week for movies.

Once Dark Knight Dvdrip is out it’s gonna stay top of charts for quite sometime.

if you download movies then you know what’s new and what’s popular and you should remember what you downloaded each week. i understand how this is educational and informational for someone who is against filesharing, but how is this of any use for a “torrentfreak”?

@ arrr matey

its of great use to us who dont have time to look through pages of torrents to find the new movie releases..

Where’s Batman??

Personally I thought Hancock wasn’t all that great, but wanted was an awesome release.

hey prolly a dumb question but what does the r5 mean

13 Aug 04, 2008 at 20:52 by Sixgis

I still don’t understand why ‘Harold and Kumar’ is so high up on this chart. Do people like it that much??

14 Aug 05, 2008 at 01:26 by Anonymous

@ 12 r5 means region 5 which is from russia, the video is dvd rip but the audio is normally from a cam

Wanted, Hancock, and Harold & Kumar were all great movies. I’m not supprised their up there.

I agree, Zohan was a very bad movie. :-(

@ 13 – Sixgis

Harold and Kumar isn’t a bad movie and it’s probably a main example of the kind of movie most people will download.

‘Stoner’ type films are a good laugh but it’s not something people really buy due to the fact it’s only worth really seeing a handful of times. It’s not like it’s a true masterpeice of entertainment.

still fun tho :D

@ 14 that’s BS. R5’s are ripped from Russian retail dvds. Those don’t have quite the same quality as a region 1 or 2 disc as there is more work done for an r1 or r2. The quality is most like a telecine (proper telecines) and is the closest u’ll get to dvdrip quality before an r1 or r2 retail rip (which will simply be labelled DVDRip).
