In addition, as part of being a VIP you were granted access to shared hosting site accounts (RS, MS), which cost enough on their own. At it’s height it was a very active community, its users and mods were some of the most dedicated and vocal I’ve seen in such an online gathering. To this day it is still sad to reflect on what happened, though part of the community does live on under a new roof albeit as a shadow of it’s former glory.

Their biggest mistake was being too ambitious, they allowed the site to grow unregulated. Registration never really closed throughout the latter half of its life, in the beginning it was different, more exclusive; it should have remained that way.
