It’s not about “Free Speech” at least not yet. I can’t promise it wont be about “Free Speech” in the future – and that may be a problem. But for now copyright isn’t.

Temporary copies means one not stored on your computer past the viewing and ones you have not made a copy of.

Don’t worry about your warez when there are many laws granting public rights. Under the UK Fair Dealing/Use law people are allowed one “personal copy” of media.

Normally this applies to say recording the song off the radio or to record a TV broadcast but there is no reason why you can’t take a copy from the Internet. You can even rip out the temporary copy and keep it lawful under Fair Dealing.

Keep in mind upload is still infringing so saying your media came from a File Locker instead of from BT is more law friendly.
