Thats good to hear that the case on DVDr-core and Alex seems to be dropped.
I used to speak to Alex on the matter as my own site CDDVDHeaven went through the same things and to be honest i also have not heard anything as to the case against myself and the site.
I had loads of paper work for the first year and slowly died off to nothing for many many months now.
Where as Alex seemed to have pulled away from the torrent scene and no longer runs such a site to my knowledge i carried on and moved the site to a much more liberal country and have been running it from there since the forced close down of CDDVDHeaven Thu May 12, 2005 10:08 pm as reported here at the time.

As Alex has said the letters we got were very exaggerated and full of threats, One the very first time i contacted them i was told i had to accept full resonsablity for what was on the site at the time and accept that i was the one breaking the law even though at no time did the site host the files they suggested i did.
I stopped all talks to them and just filled all letters i got away for safe keeping and just ignored them…

The only thing i wont be doing is going to the USA at any time soon without first finding out if anything would happen if i did take a holiday there.The last thing i would want is find i’m arrested as soon as i landed in the USA.

The MP@@ seem to be all Mouth And No Teeth in my own veiw and the fact that the DVDr-core case seems to have gone the same way suggest such a thing.
