MPAA nimittäin käytti Patrick Robinin kirjoittamaa blog-ohjelmaa omalla sivustollansa ilman lisenssiä. Blogiohjelma on ilmainen mutta käyttäjältä vaaditaan linkki blogiin tekijän sivuille. Jos linkin tai tekijän nimen haluaa poistaa, maksaa tämä yksityiselle käyttäjälle noin 15 euroa ja firmalle kuten MPAA, kyseinen lysti maksaisi vain noin 35 euroa. Luulisi että tuon tasoisella firmalla olisi varaa pulittaa pieni maksu käyttämästään ohjelmasta mutta ilmeisesti ei.
