Communist states by and large *have rejected copyright law from the beginning*, because it is the imposition of private property upon information itself. There is a vast repository of public domain video, music, pictures and so on, which were produced in the Soviet Union, Cuba, and other communist states. It is even used by media companies for advertising and other purposes – because it is public domain. This is but one of many facts about history, economic development, and the terms of understanding that refute every word you posted.

Fascism and communism, however, do inherently believe information can be “owned” and controlled, which is why the MPAA can not be described as a capitalistic entity to begin with. All of “intellectual property” belongs to the collectivist view, not the individualistic.
