They’ve tried things like that, already. Not the waiting in the cake part, but about the best they could do is to stop people from singing the happy birthday song on tv shows and movies. They usually change a few notes.

They used to have people go to grocery stores and then would try to sue them if they heard any of their copyrighted music playing. If the radio was on, they would claim that “their copyrighted music was being used for the store to make a profit.”

Release music to the public, check.
Rake in as much cash from sales, check.
When the sales slow down, sue as many people as you can for any reason you can think of… working on it.

No matter how much of an asshole you are, the MAFIAA has you beat. Whatever you would do for money, they would find something more disgusting to do. Anything. They’re like ugly whores, only they have plenty of cash, already.

They feel that their previous business model should be retained. So many other businesses had to adapt to the technological improvements, but they don’t feel that they should have to. They try to justify using logical means, but they can’t hardly argue anything past, “We deserve more money!”

When it comes to stupid ideas these mother fuckers reign king.. All they’re promoting is reasons to find/use alternative solutions. You’re better off to just find a legal song on youtube to play.

You can also use ad blocking software to make sure they don’t get paid from the ads. Why would I say that?
