However the DSi still only works as a DS with flashcards.

The DSi has extra possibilities which would actually be more usefull for homebrew software than &quot;illegal&quot; games. The &quot;illegal&quot; games would all work just fine as a DS game anyway so no need for DSi there. But for non Nintendo software it would open up a lot of possibilities.

Examples: 
- The double CPU speed would be usefull to get the C64 emulator running in realtime speed. 
- Someone could create a video capture application to record video with the camera.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Sheesh, what the heck is wrong with all these companies whose consoles connect to the internet? You&#039;re not supposed to change your firmware as often as you change your underwear! Firmware&#039;s delicate stuff, it&#039;s not meant to be reflashed all the time!
They probably spend more money replacing peoples&#039; bricked consoles than the piracy would&#039;ve cost them. (Especially considering they get recracked right away.)]]></description>
