Oink.me.uk is having some serious problems with their server. Both the site and the tracker are offline for a least a day.
They try to get it fixed as soon as possible, but data will be lost. The user data and the torrents are gone and they are forced to upload some older backups. The user data backup is quite recent, however the torrent backup is from December 30th.

They state:

When the site returns, sadly there will be some data loss, possibly substantial. This mainly affects torrents which are/were on the site, not users’ statistics.
While we realise this will be a major inconvenience, it is the best we can do.
We’re sorry for the downtime but please bear with us. This is not going to be a quick fix, expect at least a day of downtime.

    What a bulsh.. ,i leave in Latvija and bying major label artist cd sometimes could be problem. Without places like oink it would be very sad, and about 50% music that i download i delete

    mann..i just found out about this website and it sounds like its really good..so now i have to go around asking people if they have it and if they could invite me into it..or go around making friends with the most people as possible and then seeing if can get a membership from one of them…this is going to be a hard thing to do

    I have over 100 Gb of music, the vast majority of which I have personally insured is organized and tagged as thoroughly as possible. In addition, I am constantly striving to improve my collection and share the results with others. I believe that oink would be an awesome place to do so.

    I always keep a share ratio of above 2, and have shared over 125 Gb of data on Demonoid alone over the past 6 months. Though it doesn’t carry the weight that it used to, I can also trade invites to Demonoid for an invitation.

    I’ve been looking for an invite to oink for a while now. Ever since I heard about oink back at the begining of June, I’ve wanted an invite. I also have a lot of music [150 GB] a lot of it bought from the store because it couldnt be found on torrent sites I visit. I have Demonoid, ratio currently is:
    Uploaded: 177.12 GB
    Downloaded: 141.03 GB
    Ratio: 1.26

    as of now I’m soley uploading to increase this ration because it has fallen way too much from what it used to be.
