Murdering is clearly not necessary. You can saboutage someone’s social life quite extensively by just selectively exposing private data traffic mined by various spy organizations.

Well politicians can be targets of that too. The NSA are the ones with any real power if what was disclosed is true . Then the politicians are just puppets. If they start trying to pull any politics which threatens the surveillers, then there is a “scandal” before you can say “constitutional rights”.

Real journalism is dead, isn’t it?

I guess you can’t blame them after a decade of war being waged on them by Western governments.

If we saw our fellows being murdered day after day or consistently being prosecuted and jailed for 20 year stretches, we would probably stop being journalists too.

Maybe you should ask our researcher about the IRA, he was almost blown up by them 20 years ago (the Boston bombing was a near carbon-copy of the Warrington bombing that happened almost exactly 20 years earlier, oh and it was US funded…)

There have been plenty of studies done that show a MUCH higher statistical likelihood of a family member being killed by a gun in the home than a burglar or other stranger. That’s just ONE counter-argument to this fantasy you have that guns aren’t a problem in society. Seriously, what a ridiculous argument. Almost 300 people a day in America are shot, and about 90 of them die. Are you seriously contending that if guns weren’t in the equation we’d have the same number of people getting hurt and dying by stabbing or any other weapons people could get their hands on?

it must be very Hell-like to be a politician like them… They are constantly scared when in public, and can never stray from their scripts.

Are they living for themselves, a pay-check or are they merely victims trapped in a political system engineered to serve the rich?
