That is AWESOME!! And I’m an United States citizen!

However, I think we all need to remember the “ethnic minority” that is actually controlling ALL European peoples’ (Western) governments, not just the United States of America.

From my limited knowledge: The individual or organization claiming harm from a libel or a slander must demonstrate that in fact some harm was experienced due to the libel or slander. I’m not sure if there is a threshold or level of harm that must be proved, In addition, the power of the perpetrator versus the power of the alleged victim may be a factor. Meaning that the actors involved may not play on equal playing fields–a David and Goliath type of scenario. One lone person or one small organization may not be able to “harm” the big, bad USA. However, since the USA is, in fact, a CORPORATION; if someone in one of the many bureaucracies of the USA (which are ALSO corporations and corporations are ‘people’ too) wants to make a point, whoever did this light art protest could be sued for damages for whatever harm could be proved in court. AND as we all know, if the judge or judges have no backbone, the outcome is most assuredly in favor of whichever bureaucracy(ies) brings suit.

The problem with trying to prosecute under slander or libel laws would be in possible.
The NSA activities are now a matter of public record and the comparison with the stasis has been made widely in the media and sis a fair one. Finally the comparison is a matter of opinion and not necessarily fact. Everyone has a right to an opinion and to voice it.
Or all counries considering the secret police activities both under the stairs in former east Germany and the gestapo in the nazi era, you would think the Germans authorities would put a higher priority on defending the privacy of its citizens than rushing to the defence of the USA.
