By this logic you would say that the squat they were in is actually a piece of real estate owned by a private property owner and hence is not really a squat at all. That’s simply denying what really happened.

The fact number one is they reappropriated privately claimed real estate for the public and the fact number two is that they reappropriated privately claimed digital media for the public. This the essence of anarchy.

It is not so much a ‘reaction against oppression’ as it is a ‘reaction against current consumer society’. Poverty is also not a free license to do whatever you please, simply because you cannot afford to do it (this also applies to .mp3 p2p downloading principles). In the end, a certain amount of hypocrisy is evident on both sides of the issue; however, the independent ideologists minor hypocrisy ultimately undermines the corporations prevalent (and usually unending) hypocrisy.
