i think meeting those slimy corporate types half way by allowing your isp to bill you say 5euros a month for complete access to whatever content you want and all the money generated goes into a pot and split up by the amount of copyrighted material downloaded from a specific company. if it keeps slime out of my living room im happy coz its a bitch to get off the carpet….we wont ever get it all our own way but we can try and pacify it and if their terms are not good enough just carry on fu**ing them for all your worth they do it to every one else with the weight of law on their side. they are (allegedly he he) donkey raping shi* eaters as a wise kid once said in south park

Sadly, this is no mainstream politics . Out of the 800 or so MPs, these guys are only 40 . Do the math . Not only will filesharing remain illegal , the EU is actually moving toward stricter regulations . Lobbying pays off here just like it did in the US . And what`s sadder still , this is probably yet another publicity stunt on behalf of some political minnows.If nothing`s in it for them,they`re faking , it`s as simple as that

For what it’s worth, I once explored my theory that the music in the background of one of those commercials against “stealing” was possibly “stolen” by whomever made the commercial. It was Tom Morello from Rage AGainst the Machine (not a likely band to be in such an anti-piracy clip) and Prodigy (also, these guys don’t seem like they’d be in the anti-piracy video)…but their music seemed to be in it. They collaborated on a song on the Spawn SOundtrack…I emailed Sony but forgot all about it until now.

That would be ironic, or something like ironic.

1) a swedish (sorry) article on the swedish Green Party’s homepage, talking about their attitude on filesharing.

2) another swedish (again sorry) article in a swedish tabloid interviewing a filmproducer vs. a spokesperson for (again) the swedish Green Party.
