I have Popcorn Time installed on a local iPad3 that is not jail broken when unofficial applications can be installed using the date trick which Apple aims to block in iOS 8.1.

they will do the same thing as gba4ios : an enterprise certificate (i believe) . Chinese cracked app store such as pp25 / kuaiyong are using this too to push cracked apps on iDevices without jailbreak.
