mrbb, hit it on the head. There’s a couple of twats like this server loser who are using the piracy issue to promote THEMSELVES.

A couple of days ago when they had a “conference” and said the revenues are 50billion. NO, not even close. The frozen pizza business in the US is bigger. This has all been covered many times in the NYT, Forbes and the Economist. Their claim of 4% loses is also fictious but if it was real, they should be very happy with that amount of skringe.

These assclowns are going to act like the RIAA on crack for the next six months then crawl back into their holes.

They’ll realize their not losing anything and are making more money then ever. I look forward to many lulz and hope there’s a MediaDefender type ownage of these pricks.

There are so many ways to get porn its not even funny but if u r skilled u get it direct from the source and after that it doesnt matter where you upload it as long as a handful do download it there is no doubt at least 1 of those ppl will reupload it again to claim there piece of the fame and glory on another website.

Unlike warez groups adult content gets released by ppl without groups or names and just enjoy passing it on for obvious reasons…share the love ppl ;-)

I would like to know this persons motivation as it would have to be amazing considering its almost completely fruitless and futile.

I have a membership at several Porn Torrent sites, some are “scene” only others are open uploading (empornium.us). And I can honestly say no uploader(a worthwhile one, with a good server) gets their files from usenet. Usenet is used by people who don’t want to hurt their ratio on torrent sites, they download from binaries and help seed on their favorite torrent sites.

I haven’t even visted them and truly looked for something to download, because (as said by previous posters) porn is the same shit rehashed time and again. Only thing that changes is the faces…

“shutdowns” like this really only lead to smaller sites popping up, at first their rather “quiet” in terms as activity, but when people who used the previous site look for what that site use to provide them, they will find those smaller sites.

I used to be a part of the porn community. In as much as i was an affiliate for many sites and did make a LOT of money generating sales. But then one day the “magic money tree” died. Not because of coporate interference. Not because of piracy or even goveremnt pressure. It was because greedy, manipulative fucks like servergenius (with whom i have had a few run in’s myself) came along and changed the face of the industry. The reason he’s gloating this way is because he knows it’s neither a victory or even anything to do with him. It’s a simple case of timing and coincidence. For which he will quite happliy take all the glory. He knows, as do all the other porn producers of this world, that you will NEVER stop file sharing in whatever form. I remember the same thing happening when password sharing sites were the big thing. A site called “oldschoolpasswords” got closed and they acted as if they’d just won world war three using sticks and rocks. But literally within days 100’s more pass sharing sites sprang up. They know there is no real solution to this. It was once suggested to use DRM for the files on poon sites but they then realised that membership would drop by a staggering 200% and that idea was quckly dismissed. Personally i think it’s just the hollow bleating of a very insecure and withered old scrooge.
