I’ll “wage war with the Internet” and “give it away” in a European news paper. Someone is sure to download it anyway and the US fans will surely cause a panic and try to get it however they can. I get a huge advance from the news paper and My fans get my album! And I get to make even more loot when I go on tour keeping 90% of EVERYTHING!

if you were PRINCE who was used to making bank off of tracks like purple rain and when doves cry, i think you would get pissed off too if someone gave it away to THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE FOR FREE. imagine you made a painting and someone took a picture and sold it and made a million dollars while you got nuthin. that’s why artists get pissed off. and it isn’t just prince, remember napster? prince is just the only one who thinks he can make a difference, but it isn’t going that well. and also, lotusflow3r (his last album released in 2009) was the #2 album sold that year. i think people do care about him still

Yeah that why my mother is sending it tomorrow from Scotland to USA , so i can have it but 4 hours ago i a friend of mine in US already has it??? wtf? why is he not releasing it here , i went to concerts in UK all the time , but i live here now so cant buy? ……

prince has figured out what the music industry has failed to understand. artist make money on tours. albums only make money for the corp. file sharing is here to stay for along time.
