Violated0, the MPA weren’t required to state their takedown request was under the DCMA; such requests require six specific elements defined in the relevant US law, 17 U.S.C. § (512(c)(3)(A)(i-vi)), and their request superficially met those. On the face of it, that would seem to expose false claimants to legal remedies by the alleged copyright infringer under sub-section (f) of the same section.

That law, by the way, is the section of the DCMA known as OCILLA, or the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act.

I have never heard anthing good about godaddy other than people saying get godaddy hosting as apparently they failed to do their history research. I will never have a site on godaddy because they deleted thousands of child model sites that were perfectly legal in a few days time with little or no regard to the owners of the material. many of the photographers lost their entire sets and most of the content was lost forever serving a dissatisfaction to the rest of the world. fku u godaddy
