For an while I dis agree about their systems. They are making commercial version of hacks. While other people can code for them selves. I don't think this is an quite true open-source community. Such as editing themes for swapping their logo for you're logo is illegal according to their forums. Once you have done that you will never get support in any way. So if you used the open-source version. And you edit the logo they will never support you even if you have donated.

After an while of debating with them they finally gave me some little support. But their hacks and every thing are very limited. Such as Torrent Trader has almost infinite hacks and modifications. And you get the open source themes from Nikkbu with PDS files and any thing attached to it. Thats what I prefer for community. Like XBTIT are more like an closed source community. And takes ages to get your private hacks. And if you paid 10 bucks for an couple of hacks. Or private hacks they will release it after 3 months any way.

Their game is actually "Who plays first ends last" With I am referring to "Who pays first ends lasts" since when ever you buy the hacks even the private ones. After 3 months every one can download it. Since their forums are barely moderated. There are many forming groups to make XBTIT better then it already is.

The software is great stuff. But it still requires the flavor of an true open-source community. Thats the lack of this software.

I'm fed up with TBDev Trackers. every kid that has access to a free hosting server uploads a copy of TBDev on that ftp and tries to become a major uber l33t hacker.

I want quality when I talk about torrent tracker, not quantity.

So, will this xbtit offer me what I want?

btiteam.org needs a cleanup.. i went there to find info on the script and its not clear at all where to get more info. the first and most obvious page, "forums", requires registration. but at least theres a flash clock!

If all trackers were made to be easily extensible like this one, the tracker world would enjoy the flexibility, range of features, and eventually some day we might see a more open-source approach to the creation of a torrent hydra (database sharing) that could never be slain. Yeah, I'm playing the naive optimist here, but God it would be supremely awesome if databases like Oink, Demonoid, and more importantly sites analogous to Bitme didn't have to be inevitably lost in the long term.

I sure hope the btjunkie team has has the sense and foresight of TPB when their number comes up, because imho isohunt just won't do now that it is filtered (and lacks a health sort or the ability to see into private trackers).
