It seems you’re one of those people more concerned about making rapidshare look bad than about saving children from abuse. Are you like some Dutch politician trying 8 years to get a internet filter installed ? Would it have helped all those abused by the church ?

I don’t know what you have been looking for but with many years of internet use i never came across anything like it. But since you did find it, you must have been actively searching for it and maybe you already broke the law.

If you report it to the authorities you admit breaking the law because as soon as you see it you must have it in your computer memory and have the picture,video or whatever else in your possesion.

Why is it that nobody will answer my questions? If you think Rapidshare should monitor their uploads, shouldn’t the postal service open every package to check for illegal material? Child porn has been sent through the mail. Opening everyone’s mail would help stop it, so it’s perfectly ok, right? Or how about the phone company listening in on all your conversations? I’m sure that child abuse, links to sites, etc, have been traded over the phone (I’ve done it with links to copyrighted stuff), so the phone company should step in and stop it, right?

Shouldn’t ISPs install deep packet inspection software and log everything that you download, in case someone happens to download any child porn?

How far do you want big brother to go “for the children”?

I’d try to explain how I’m not defending the right to upload CP, but rather the right not to have everything you do on the net monitored, but I’m pretty sure that you still wouldn’t get it.
