Absolutely. I pirated cypress hill, black sunday in the mid 90s at school, when I was poor. I loved it. I paid up and saw them live when they came to my home town about 2 years ago, and the other day, I decided that black sunday was a classic album of all time and now that I have secure job it was time to buy it. Not only that, but I wanted it on vinyl. I can still play the mp3s on the pc if I want, but damn, vinyl is cool, and huge artwork is great. I paid 40% more for a vinyl copy compared to a cd copy. So this is 15 years later, when the time was right. If I never had the album, I never would have bought it, and probably not seen the live show either. That is how it is in the real world!

Why does the record industry think, that band need them..? They provide nothing but a studio to record in.

Any band can sell their own albums for $3.99 and make more than they would if they signed with a record label. Who cares what record companies think, or do. They are nothing but thieves living off other people’s talents.
