I prefer darwins natural selection. the world is ever changing so things in this world need to adapt to survive in this ever changing world. Filesharing on a global scale is the new player on the scene and its very succesfull. if something is succesfull it will grow and force other beings out of excistence or force them to adapt so they can promote their own chance of survival. it can also promote the growth of other beings in this new worl order.

to put it in other words. the companies that are losing money need to find other ways to prevent piracy otherwise just like 99,9% of other animal species they will go extinct. Companies that can adapt will surive and those that cant or wont are doomed.

I hope this rambling made some sense. if not well too bad haha.

The game i bought after downloading was world of warcraft. why? i could not get the damb thing working. i had everything except a valid serial. Blizzard did a good job to make sure its really hard (for me) to play without an original serial.

Now, the debate is simple. Or we use internet, the good and the bad who comes with it, or we live without it, being sure that the supercompanys make their superbucks.
But you can not sell us faster and faster internet connections and expecting us just to surf arround with it.
Why do governements (EU and USA in frontline) and tech companis spend billions on bringing up the speed of connections? To read poems, emails, and CNN?
They can not punish us for a crime they helped us to comit. Cause, face it, if we all remained on dial up, P2P would not eve exist.

So please leave us alone, and stop blaming us for using internet at its maximum capacity.
Now, sure there will be lees budget in movies and music clips. I don t feel so bad about that. Maybe there will be more space for real music, less Britney shit, Backstree Boys and all these things… And if musician want to make more money thay can go make more concerts, and earn their life like everbody else.
About the movies, they could start spending more times on their scenarios, instead of spending more money on their special effects. (5th Element costed one fifth the budget of Terminator 3…)
Anyway, these are remakrs and ideas… Just to tell to the world to stop attacking us for what they gave us, and start take us as part of an evolution which is affecting all and everywhere.

i mean damn if u have the money to afford a server, AND that good of a connection, surely u can afford to take a trip ( or wire money) to a good friend in a foreign land to host it….
but that’s just me.

and also, i dunno how much of this is true but from what I hear, its the sharing that’s illegal. so if u dload something, and you at least half-ass make it look legit (iso’s?) and there’s no trace u shared it, then its legal. You can tell em you had a copy but sold it, and kept your backup…

I download only the best programs and not the shit ones, I don’t make any commercial profit from using them. No company loses money, because I would never buy cheap shit programs nor would I be able to afford overpriced decent software.

I download half-decent movies, because in this country the only movies that show at the cinema are bullshit stephen shitberg american box office lord of the fag family turd films. No company loses money because I don’t go to the cinemas and if I couldn’t download movies I wouldn’t buy or watch any anyway, its that simple.

I buy every big release game that comes out. And download all the shit games just to play them once then delete them.

Without downloadable music, I’d just survive off of free music releases anyway.

it`s funny and strange how this topic is dicused over and over again.
I don`t understand why you guys are spending so much time with this chickens*it. We all got our opinion, somebody has found his one, someone made himself one…and only a hand full of a few poor suckers are just reading this lines without any thoughs.
Well to get to the point, myself is asking, if the gibberish talker here are aware, that the real dudes are not talking in a place like that? To be honest, i wouldn`t be here either, if i had something better to do at the time i`m writing this.

Okay, but I fear what its approaching, Caruso. In the depression, when Okies, entire families pushed off their farms because of money, were roaming the orchards in California fighting over baskets of food to sell for a nickel. And the farm owners weren’t obligated then to give money to the poor, either. It never is a problem of those with money, since they don’t want to have to help if they don’t want to. So they don’t have to! And what — the U.S. government FORCES them to let a crop go for a year — hard earned freedoms down the drain. But what choice did we have? And in the beginning, government was supposed to be you and me working together. Doesn’t it always become this way?

I can’t see much to feel strongly about. It’s a big complicated mess. Don’t try to bake up a pure and simple truth, because there isn’t one.
