yup time has passed and the site is the same except the comment section disabled are gradually spreading to other sections too.

i think the guy was probably lying about all this and is simply banning other peoples links so he can promote only his own..

also look at any of the stories linked on the side and see how much spam is on the comments.. this site is a mess wow !

Don’t put too much faith in rlslog’s side of this story, rlslog’s owner is a scumbag, i would bet money that this whole situation is just a ploy to force you to download from rlslog’s own links (notice that they’re still there, even on new items) instead of links in comments, therefore making them more money off of their own filelocker accounts.

Martin owns rlslog, i have almost no confidence that the stated reason is the reason that the comments are removed… Or else, why would the links uploaded by rlslog itself still be there, its just a scam to force you to use theirs instead and make a bit of quick money, once those downloads start to die off, comments will be back, or site will be closed.

this news story is full of misinformation from rlslog.

That they had to remove COMMENTERS links but NOT the links they themselves provide…and then only in the two most popular categories….it just doesn’t pass the smell test.

The law firm would be MUCH more interested in rlslog’s own direct infringement, MUCH MUCH more so.

It makes no sense whatsoever.

I think this is a made up excuse to increase the utilization of the admin provided links by the site’s visitors to increase their affiliate income.

This would only be an anology if they tried ‘censoring’ google books, wowebook or ebookee.
