.me or .com - result is same for many German users. A blank page is all that can be seen from the site. I read here and there that many of the big ISPs in Germany blacklisted Demonoid, so it won't really matter which domain the site has - they'll keep on blocking it. But still noone announced this officially. Demonoid blocking IPs is also no a good answer since many other people in Germany can use the site without a problem. So my guess is that the ISPs are behind this hell of a shitstorm. You pay 'em and they give you the finger...You yeh arse.

I'm from Montenegro. We are not in Italy. This is small old European country.

Here's more info about .me tld:
http://www.domain.me/about.html

From my POW, it's not the best way to secure your domain.

USA/EU have big influence here, Russia too. Our government is really good in balancing needs of those blocks.

But, If any of those blocks ask us to do something about Demonoid.me, believe me, they will find a way to do that, no matter doMEn (the registar for .me domains) is private company (controled by GoDaddy - US, Afilias - Ireland, ME.net - Montenegro). Now, everything seems clear.

Our government these days just plain sucks. We either need a civil war or better yet, defund the government. No one will loan this government any more money if people stop funding it through taxes.

The 2 major parties are both severely corrupt and only exist to serve their own interests. This needs to STOP! The way the system operates now, no one who is really worth a shit can get in and fix this because they get outspent. I hope this country wakes up soon finally deals with this problem.

We the people are fed up and so is the rest of the world. Voting doesn't produce shit, as we can see.

What would the forefathers that wrote the constitution do if they were still alive to see this mess?

Ok, some people need to be set straight on here..Here we go

@74 Scouser

Get a life...You honestly think you scare me...You remind me of the sillynannies from family guy...You talk a big game but piss yourself when it happens...Just shutup and go back to what you do best, getting coffee for your scum of a boss over at the RIAA cause none of use like you...

@98 Mr X Gets Tense

Wow, that was a really long rant, I fell asleep a quarter way through...Here is a way to get through to people...SHUT THE F..K UP!! All your doing is proving your a troll and are a complete piece of scum...Do us in the P2P community a favor, go down to McDonalds, buy a big mac, shove it in your mouth and shut up!

@106 Anonymous

If you havent been paying attention to torrentfreaks articles lately, WE ALREADY HAVE WON!!! We will continue to win cause we have greater numbers then the RIAA and the MPAA combined...

@136 Anonymous

Havent you been paying any attention to why the US is seizing sites, its because they are power-hungry degenerates...The problem is not the distrubution and wealth, the problem is the RIAA/MPAA sticking their noses in where it doesnt belong...The P2P community has every right to do as they please without needing to worry about a site being shutdown for non-legitamite reasons....Why do you think demonoid has changed domain structures? Why do you think wikileaks has done this too? Its to keep the RIAA/MPAA from censoring our freedoms on the internet...The whole concept of the P2P/Torrent wars are for freedom of privacy and for showing that we are doing ABSOLUTLY nothing wrong...Why do you go take a look at the US constitution, study it and understand why the P2P community is fighting back before you rant on like a schoolgirl who knows absolutly nothing about this war...

I think I covered everything

I find it so f*cking ridiculous that pirates try to educate the public about the fallacy of the “perceived” losses of the media industry, when they do not perceive the loss of the value of money they still hold in their hands thanks to not having to buy media. Guess what? Each time you, your neighbor, your employer or your state or government take a loan, the value of money is decreased for everybody, including yourself. You do not have to be a genius to realize that in a fiat currency economy, the power to create debt(=money) is theft. Now apply this analogy to the power to make perfect digital copies of media. For every copy you make, you dilute the value of each other copy. How is that not theft?? You guys are fooling yourselves. If you have a problem with the media industry, why don't you attack the real problem: the distribution of its wealth. (This problem is not unique to the media industry, by the way.) To solve this problem, you need to raise artists' awareness about why they are poor, and educate them and provide them with the tools needed to make sure that they can shift the balance of power back from the media distributors and the rent seeking collecting societies. Now that would be true piracy! Piracy to be proud of!
